Hi all, After a year of consistent play with my 5 players, all found here on the Roll20 forums, 1 sadly has needed to depart the game at 6th level. Now, let's move on to the juicy details! Campaign : Epsilone Sun - Corruption of Silone: Chapter 3 System: D&D 5E | VTT: Roll20 | Voice: Discord | Streamed: Twitch Genre: Post-Apocalyptic High Fantasy Tone: Gritty. Emotional. Lore-Rich. Dangerous. Time Commitment: Weekly, 3–4 hours/session The World of Silone Silone is a broken world. Once protected under the ancient Keysphere—a divine artifact maintaining balance between the elements—Silone shattered when the warlord General Kalis, seduced by infernal whispers, sacked the capital city of Ikald, destroyed the Keysphere and opened a crack to the domain of Mammon, the Arch-Devil of Greed. Now, Corruption from Minauros bleeds into the land like poison. It curls through sewers and stone, warps rivers and minds, and births abominations where once there were people. Epsilone , a sun-scorched realm of ash deserts, crumbling empires, cannibal tribes, and fractured cities Upsilone , a land of ravaged spoils, once a civilised nation it is now ruled by the tyrant General Kalis who has allowed the remnants of his army claim the spoils of war over the last 20 years. Feralem , a continent of ancient secrets, untouched jungles, and wild entities lost to time. Above it all hangs the Emerald Star , ever watching, ever bright—a scar in the cosmos signalling an omen of the end. The Story So Far The players began as prisoners in the city of Gurst , a shattered capital once ruled by a tyrannical Sorcerer King. His recent death fractured the city. Rebellions surged. Power vacuums widened. Corruption found space to grow. They’ve: Encountered the Corruption deep within the nearby Iron Mines, a swarm of plagued vines, and have succumbed to its effects Escaped the assassination chaos of the Sorcerer-King and descended into the undercity of Gurst, fighting horrors among the ruins of ancient temples. Discovered one of the four lost shards of the Keysphere , now bonded to a player’s soul. Fought a corrupted Medusa , using creation magic to raise a forgotten army. Witnessed the tragic cost of a failed resistance and the moral compromises needed to win. Currently, the party has taken refuge at Haargrav Estate , a noble villa above a vast aquifer of magical water. There they discovered a bound Marid , where the Majordomo— Maistra Linne —who would trade lives to protect her future. Conflict brews. Looking For A player who thrives in character-driven narratives , moral complexity, and layered storytelling. Must be comfortable with mature themes , difficult choices , and no guarantee of safety . You will join a party mid-story —a new character must be compelling, but grounded. Familiarity with Roll20 , D&D Beyond , and Discord voice required. Willingness to be on Twitch (audio only). This is not a casual romp. It is high-investment, high-payoff storytelling. Themes & Style Post-apocalyptic survival in a fantasy world of decaying empires and collapsing faiths. Cosmic horror, moral ambiguity, and personal redemption. The Corruption is not just a monster. It is a whisper, a temptation, a slow unraveling.
