Token Ambush using Foreground layer

So, I was sent a video were someone explained how to make tokens appear when a player character got too close, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong as the tokens just won't appear. Now, this was from an older version of the Foreground layer where "Hidden by Darkness" was a toggle. Also, to note, I'm using dynamic lighting, so I don't know if that's messing it up.  Anyway, here's the step by step so someone can hopefully tell me what I did wrong. 1: Placed the tokens onto the Foreground layer. 2: Grouped the tokens together. 3: Set all the token base opacities to 0%. 4: Turned conditional fade on and set it to 100%. 5: Set tokens to Below Darkness (I believe that's the same as hidden by darkness on). That's it. That's every step from the video I saw. So... any ideas? Kinda stumped by this and game is in 2 hours, lol

Token Base Opacity at 0% sounds wrong to me.  I believe that would make the token Invisible under all circumstances.  Reset to Token Base Opacity to 100% and should be ok.
Nope. All that did was allow the players to see the token immediately upon entering the same room. I should clarify, the original method was supposed to make the tokens only appear when a player token moved into the space adjacent to them.
Nevermind. Figured it out. They only appear when the player steps onto the tile, not around it. Which actually isn't too bad as now I know how to do traps, lol.

Think of it as a base value and an alternate value, with the alternate being triggered on token overlap.
