5th edition character sheet question

Hello all! I am running a 5th edition starter set game with some friends and I was importing their character sheets into Roll20 and I have noticed something when I was familiarizing myself with them. When I roll for a skill check, it gives me a pair of values in yellow, almost like the players are rolling with advantage on all checks. When I hover over the values, I get a formula that shows where the two numbers came from, but not why there are two of them. Did I not disable something, or is this normal?

The 5e sheet rolls twice so that you can use the built-in macros for advantage/disadvantage. If the roll should have advantage, use the higher of the two. If the roll should have disadvantage, use the lower of the two. If the roll doesn't have either advantage or disadvantage, just use the first one.
Thanks!

More FAQ stuff and some advanced options/help on the sheets wiki page - https://wiki.roll20.net/DnD5e_Character_Sheet This is also listed at the bottom of the sheet itself should you need to direct your players to it
Actoba, you should write a script that auto responds to this question. whenever it is posted on any forum in roll20. Or perhaps make a larger link at the bottom of the character sheet that takes up a large size of the screen. :)

There is a reason it's the first FAQ entry for sure! But people still get confused and the forum is as good a place as any to ask a question with so many people around able to help out so i dont mind all that much. :)
