This week has a ton of tasty morsels, here's just a few of the highlights: (Map: Underworld City by Silver Compass Maps , Tokens: Animated Tokens - 20 #7 by Crosshead ) A new raise hand feature, which lets players raise their hand to let you know they've got a question about that suspicious bookshelf you've described without interrupting your description of the desk next to it. Demiplane Character Sheets and Roll20 Characters becoming best of friends. Custom backgrounds for the D&D 2024 sheets, as well as new filters for the builder! There's plenty more to enjoy while planning your beach episode shenanigans for your next session, so let's dive right in: As part of integration to make Demiplane available within Roll20, you can access your Demiplane characters within the Roll20 Characters interface as of today !

character sheets outside of the VTT. While a slight update, this will
allow you to play around with the different Character Sheets in a
seamless interface and link your Demiplane Sheets into Roll20 Characters
and Roll20 Games.
As a reminder, you can always check the Change Log that gets updated throughout each week on our Help Center !
Roll20 | D&D 2024 Character Sheet & Builder Updates:
Introduced the ability to create a custom background within the character builder .
Introduced new filters across the class, background,
and species slides so you can more easily find what you’re looking for,
like “Show me Classes that use Charisma for spellcasting” or “Show me
only Species that have a Swim speed. ”
Introduced the ability to rearrange lists on the PC & NPC
sheet; you can now sort lists however you’d like across the Combat,
Inventory, and Spells (including the full screen view) tabs.
On the background slide, we’ve introduced the ability to toggle
on both backgrounds that you own and those that you don’t, so you can
more easily see what’s available to you. If you don’t want to view
unowned content you can toggle it off via the “Content Visibility”
toggle.
Fixed a bug where some spell level indicators we're being removed on the spells slide when building a character.
Added a confirmation and summary of what you're about to delete
when deleting a Class, Background, or Species within the character
builder.
Fixed a bug where some dropdowns (e.g. invocation choices) were
showing duplicates and were not in alphabetical order, making it
difficult to find what you’re looking for.
Fixed a bug where some equipment choices were not displaying in the builder when they should be.
Fixed a bug where certain initial stating gold weren't being presented as a choice in the builder.
Added support for conditionally-obtained feats with limited
follow up selections, like Acolyte Background's Magic Initiate.
Improved clarity of Spells tab when multiple spellcasting methods exist with the same name. (e.g. Magic Initiate).
Roll20 | Jumpgate Updates:
Added a quality-of-life feature to enable users to
"Raise Hand" - /raisehand or /rh common in chat will initiate a toast at
bottom of your VTT screen indicating to the group that a hand is
raised, and by which player. It disappears after 10 seconds, and can
also be dismissed any time .
Resolved an issue where dropping the default token from a
Beacon sheet's journal entry sometimes failed to populate the token's
bars and other attributes.
Resolved an issue where tokens marked with Token Markers
bearing an associated number pip where unable to be moved between
layers.
Added the ability to toggle on/off the ability to center player
cameras on their controlled token(ons) when loading into a page. It's
accessible in VTT Settings > Graphic s section.
Made an update to smooth out token tints which previously had appeared as hard edges
Page Menu was updated to separate creating a blank page from
creating/connecting a Dungeon Scrawl map. The latter options are now
under a "Build a Map" button.
Fixed a Foreground layer bug for drawings where changing
foreground settings via the right click context menu didn't save/update
Fixed a bug where, when a user added an animated image as the
token art for a character, and then dragged that character on to the
tabletop, a broken image appeared (if debug setting was on), or nothing
appeared (if debug setting was off).
Fixed a bug where newly placed doors on Firefox browser were obscured for players until a refresh.
