Jukebox Overhaul

Score + 24
I think the Roll20 Jukebox is in desperate need of an overhaul, I think it'd greatly benefit from some external integrations like Syrinscape, Spotify, its beyond frustrating to want to be able to use sounds and music through Roll20 but having to either rip them via an MP3 converter (which isn't fair to the content creator, especially in OG works) or having to organise a spotify listen party which again itself is a pain.

Jukebox and music/sound effects need a very much needed upgrade.  I feel like it's the 1990's in terms of sound in Roll20.
This is likely the kind of thing that would require a licensing deal with spotify or whatever streaming service for access to their APIs, which would cost roll20 money to implement, plus the cost of dev time.  I wouldn't hold my breath on this. I would love to see a way to setup a soundboard for effects and stuff that's easier than just hitting play on individual files, though.  Even if it is just using uploaded files.

Advertisements would absolutely kill the game and I'm not going to demand all my players sub to Spotify. I lived through the bad times (TM) when Roll20 used external services - it was terrible. There's a ton of royalty free music on youtube and many ways to get them into MP3. I'd suggest a specific program but not sure if there's an issue posting an external program here. Also while I am sure it may ruffle some feathers suggesting it that shalt not be named, but honestly, v5 Suno is beyond impressive at generating campaign music that's not copyrighted and is very good as long as your party isn't going to get mad about it. Honestly, a Suno partnership would make a LOT more sense for Roll20 and be endlessly more useful for GMs (including the fact the music could be broadcast no problem once generated) but to some, I know AI is an overzealous moral crusade even though TTRPGs is about the most legitimate use for it possible; most GMs are not going to be commissioning their own music for a campaign, and most players would have bleeding ears if they did ;)
