DnD 5e

I have posted 15 applications to join in the last week.  I've linked character creations in DnD Beyond, creative backstories, even old personal experiences from my past about my love of the game.   Nothing.  Not one response.   You should be ashamed of yourselves, those posting about LFG- I'm an experienced player and you've killed my will to join here.   Imagine if I were a newbie????

Finding a group is hard I will admit. There is like 50 players per 1 GM ratio. I play DnD 3.5 and PF1e imagine how hard it is to find those games for way older systems. Let alone finding a GM that is stable, will be the leader of the group like there post to be and never take the easy way out on a problem. Then finally taking out any paid GM's. All this makes it almost impossible for me. So don't give up finding that one good group will make it worth it I been in games that have lasted over a year or so before any issues  arise. So it is possible.

I don't tolerate shit from people and I hate when people take the easy way out to fix something than take there time and do it the hard  way to fix it the correct way. Due to that a lot and I mean a lot of people hate me here. And frankly I don't care. But even with that and finding older game groups I am still manage to find them may take a long time but I do. I feel both of you can do same, find a group. But if both still feel same well I wish you the best on another site to find groups.

That's unfortunate you had that experience. Sometimes its hard to respond to everyone if the GM gets a lot of interest for the game. Have you considered running a game yourself?

Have you ever tried looking for a west marches server (Via Discord). Might be more in line with what you're expecting.

I found my group by making a "for hire" post of sorts in character in a FB group. It stood out from the generic "hey I'm looking for a group" posts. I only stumbled across here because I'm looking for a one shot for the weekend because I'm bored. It's an RPG... Get creative.
