Some game systems, Simple System for example, don't use dice. Said system works entirely on cards. It would be extremely awesome if I could write data into, say, a Fireball card. It could read my Intellect or Resolve from my character sheet, automatically flip a card from the Resolution Deck, and use the checks of the color corresponding to my Int to deal damage to a chosen target. A Resolution card would have six data fields: Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Initiative and Direction. Scripts and macros could read and use this data, just like they can use a dice roll. I think there are other game systems and games out there which could benefit from something like this also. =)
