Newbie looking for a group

Hey there looking for a newbie friendly group to join. I've been a big fan of DnD for years but I've never actually played before, I'm more familiar with 5e but I'm open to trying other games. I'm on EST and my schedule is open Thursdays-Sundays. I also have a discord if anyone would prefer to talk on there.

Hi Alexis, I'm a newbie as well and looking to start a level 1 wizard within the D&D5e 2014-2024 Rulesets, pardon me for high jacking your thread but figured I'd put myself out there if you need another player should you find a campaign that needs a level 1 wizard.  My experience is 1986 when I bought the  Red Box set Dungeons & Dragons Fantasy Role-Playing Game  SET 1: BASIC RULES TSR Published 1983 I then found some other kids from grade school and played a fighter for several campaigns. Having been back since, besides playing Dungeons and Dragons Online (the MMORPG) With the rollout of Roll20 I want to scratch that itch. Pretty much available whenever. Also, flexible on the character I play as well, as I've much to learn and do want to get into a game but I have a Wizard preference.
