Explorer Mode seems bugged? Am I missing something?

So, my Explorer Mode  seems to be backed with the Jumpgate version of my campaign. What I mean is, when a player's token with vision explores the map, the map outside their POV is featureless. In Legacy Explorer Mode, anything on the Map  layer showed up in their explored area.  The image below is from Legacy. The cars, parking spaces, walls, and everything on the Map  layer is still visible.  This is from the campaign with Jumpgate. It is the exact same map. As you can see, things outside the token's POV are featureless, save for what is drawn with darkness lines.  The cars for some reason remain, but as you can see many of the details are simply gone. This makes PC navigation a pain in the butt.  Am I missing something? I have not toggled something in my settings? Any help would be great!

Hi Chase P.,  Please use a dummy account and test what the player sees that way. Preview has never been a good metric for what a player sees on their screen. It has always been a line of sight check, nothing more.
Hello,  Sorry, I should clarify my players see this as well--they were the ones who brought this to my attention. So, I can confirm my players see it like this as well.  I should ask: is it supposed to look like this?  Thanks for the response!

Could you PM me an invite to your game? I'd like to take a look.

Hi Chase,  I think I have diagnosed the issue. Explorer mode is not respecting drawn objects. Only images are being displayed. If you check the copy of the map you sent me to you'll see an image I added to the map. It is visible while the art objects next to it are not. This is not what happens in Legacy Roll20. I suggest filing a bug report via the Help Center .  I will also let the Devs know.  In the meantime you might try making the art objects in a basic art program then upload them as images to Roll20. Or use Legacy Roll20.
