Hello all! I'm looking for a group/DM willing to be patient with a complete novice such as myself. I've never played DnD (or any TTRPG), but a few months ago I started playing Baldur's Gate 3 with zero DnD experience -- I was stumbling blind for a while haha! Long story short I fell in love with the game and decided I wanted to try playing DnD for real, so here I am. I'm looking to play DnD 5e. My time zone is EST and I'm usually free Monday, Tuesday, or Friday afternoons, weekends (especially in the evening), or really late at night almost any day (I'm talking post-11pm, so if anyone's either a night owl or on, like, pacific time, that works!). I'd be very down to play a one-shot, and I'd consider joining a longer campaign if someone has the patience to teach me that much lol. I don't have a character created at the time I'm writing this, but I'm planning on making one extremely soon and will hopefully have one by the time this gets any responses! But again, I'm super inexperienced so... we'll see. Thank you to anyone willing to give me a chance! NOTE: I'm under 18. Not by much (like, a couple months), but please keep that in mind and DNI if that makes you uncomfortable.
