How do you actually play Stormlight?

I'm at a total loss here. Nothing has stats. Nothing . There is a reference to Demiplane, but I bought this to run it in Roll20. I want to be able to actually see the stats of the thing I click on. There isn't even a link. Nothing from the Compendium tab drags and drops onto the map. You can't create a character and link the stats to an NPC in the Compendium. None of the Roll20 functionality is here. Was buying this a huge mistake?

Hey Dr DM, You can ask Roll20 for a Refund via the Help Center if you decide that within a period of time.  You would have to Connect Demiplane to your Roll20 Account in order to access all the features of Stormlight and many of the missing features that you are asking about. Demiplane is another website, yes, true, one which Roll20 bought & owns & operates now. Roll20 did that for a variety of reasons, Demiplane's character sheets are considered to be beautiful, and there is more technology involving Demiplane Nexus and Roll20 Compendium working together, integrated or bridged using both sites.  From the documentation explaining what the Demiplane connection will enable in your purchase:  Purchase of this cross-platform title also unlocks the full title on Demiplane (see notes below on connecting your Demiplane and Roll20 accounts). Access to the full book content on Demiplane with filterable results and tooltips, integrated into Roll20’s VTT Compendium—nearly 400 pages of content covering the rules for character creation and gameplay in the world of Roshar. Character options fully loaded into a powerful character builder and sheet experience Desktop and mobile-friendly digital book accessible anywhere with an internet connection Rule listings for player and GM options that can be searched and filtered To gain access to all features of this product on Demiplane, simply  link your account , which will automatically unlock your purchase on Demiplane’s Cosmere Nexus.

My accounts are linked. But no content is linked. I can access all of the content in Demiplane. I can search the Compendium tab and see all the content. And there is no sign of how to actually play the game on roll20 or Demiplane. I cannot make a single roll from a character sheet.

OK, if you make a game with the actual Cosmere sheet and apply the addons, then everything shows up and you get no access to Demiplane through the Compendium tab. If you make a game directly from the Marketplace page of the addon, it defaults to the D&D 5E sheet and you have to actually search for the right sheet. The Demiplane integration shows up on top and the Cosmere actual sheet shows up as "Other Sheets". If you choose to use the Demiplane integration then there is no Roll20 functionality. If you add the original Cosmere sheet, then you get Roll20 functionality and no access to Demiplane compendium. What a shit show. I honestly think I have to go for the refund and play this in another platform. This is too much.

Dr DM said:  If you choose to use the Demiplane integration then there is no Roll20 functionality. Maybe some bugs that will get worked out in-time, since it is a new release.  You're supposed to be able to do what you said -- choose the Demiplane integration and then yes, indeed, there should be Functionality within your Roll20 VTT.  You should be able to add the Cosmere sheet AND have access to the Demiplane compendium.  I'm really not sure if there is a step we are missing, or if it is broken at the moment.
Hey Dr. DM Our customer service folks will take care of your refund, no problem. You identified a bug that we are in the process of fixing right now and should have fixed by end of today. We are just a couple hours out from launch, and while we would like to have launched with everything flawlessly working across a bunch of Cosmere titles supported across our several platforms (Roll20, Demiplane, DriveThruRPG), it looks like we missed this bit, so thanks for pointing it out. The issue you identified is that the multi-sheet code was not fully enabled correctly so that when you Create a New Game and use Cosmere RPG, there should have only been one option for you to pick: an option that combines both a Roll20-native version of the NPC/Adversaries sheet and the Demiplane characters sheets (for both PC and for NPCs/adversaries). Once we have that fixed later today, you will be able to enter a Roll20 Cosmere RPG game and access everything at once that supports the game. You can access the Demiplane compendium within Roll20 VTT, and you can add adversaries right to the VTT tabletop from there. Since that multi-sheet was not fully enabled, you had a supremely frustrating experience of launching a game with either Roll20 or Demiplane sheets enabled, but not both, and therefore finding things lacking in whichever one you chose since the real support is through both combined in a multi-sheet game. If there was other Roll20 functionality that you found missing and have a moment to let us know what, we'd appreciate it. Steve Wieck Roll20
We've now rolled out the fix and multi-sheet should now be working as intended.
