Issues with Zorzula's Rest - Roll20 Purchased Content

Hello: I'm running The Shattered Obelisk: Phandelver and Below and today I ran into a weird problem with the map for Zorzula's Rest. The top portion of the map was fine, monsters, walls, lighting etc.. But when I tried to move all the characters to the bottom half of the map, only a portion of the map was visible. It was visible on my (DM) screen, but on players screen they could only see their names and a small portion of the top of the map. When I move the map, the grid of the top portion of the maps and the tokens stay (as well as text description such as "Lift to Area Z4". It looks like they didn't finish the map for the players somehow. Any one have an idea how to fix this so my players can see the whole map? I've attached screenshots of what I see and what they see.

Hello, I tested it on my end. Your Dynamic Lighting layer is messed up. It has moved positions. Some of the DL walls of the upper section, seem to be IN your lower section ---- based on the fact I can see the square rectangle shapes of some of the rooms that only exist in the Upper section and shouldn't see those shapes in your Lower section. This could happen if you were on your Lighting Layer as GM and somehow selected some lines (or did Control A select all), and then moved the lines. Another smaller possibility is it might be messed-up by the converter for the publisher seems to have used FREEHAND drawing tool for the Dynamic Light walls and we are supposed to not do that, supposed to use the Pen tool instead for chunkier straigher lines. Sometimes having the continually curving freehand lines can mess up DL. However I tested on my end and this didn't seem to cause the problem, so I suggest the earlier in Paragraph 1. I think your best bet going forward is: Best Option. Go to your Lighting Layer and look at the lines. Erase all the lines. Re-draw the lines for Dynamic Lighting walls yourself. Focus on the lower section where the Players are now. Use the Pen tool to outline the walls of the rooms. Second Option. Install the game again in a new copy, and move the players to the new copy, and see if the map works for them there, it should. Third option, upgrade to Roll20 Pro account. Install the game again. Use the Pro feature called Transmogrify to bring the new copy of the map, into your existing game. Forth option, report this to Roll20 Help Center and use the option called Liscened Content Issues in the drop down menu, https://help.roll20.net/hc/en-us/requests/new
Hello Gold: Thank you for responding. I purchased this module: "The Shattered Obelisk: Phandelver and Below" from Roll20, and this past Sunday was the first session where my players were on this map. The only thing I did to the map was: Since the entire dungeon/map is described in the module as having a blue hue (due to the lava being blue), I put a translucent blue square over the entire dungeon to simulate that. I haven't made any changes to the lighting layer, nor deleted any walls, unless placing the blue square did that. Everything was fine until my players descended to the 2nd level of the dungeon/map. There, as you could see in the picture above, the map is ok until they get down past a few squares into the lower dungeon/map, then the dungeon just doesn't exist, only showing rooms Z13, Z17, and a portion of Z18. On my (DM) map of the dungeon, I can see the entire map, it just cuts off as described above. I did notice the "Foreground Layer" corresponds to where the lower dungeon/map cuts off for my players. I'm not sure what you mean by: " Install the game again in a new copy, " I tried copying the game and seeing if the problem persisted there, and it did. I'd hate to have to redraw the lines by hand. As our session was wrapping up when they made it to the lower section, we just called the game early. But I'd love to get this figured out and fixed before our next session in a couple of weeks. Thank you again for your aid, I hope we can figure this out.

I can pop into your game and take a look, if you want? You would need to PM me the Invite link to the game, and after I join it, promote me to Co-GM then I can look. On the option where I say "Install a new game" the process for that is go to Roll20 and click "Create Game", select your module and character sheet, and create a new game with this module. There are some parts of your question, the OP, that maybe I am not understanding clearly. If I was logged in yours, i could double check all those settings starting with the ones that I think are most likely, first. I still think the most-likely, based on what I'm understanding from what you've said, is you accidentally moved or deleted something, whether on Map Layer or Dynamic Layer. Whether when you placed the Blue overlay, or when you were trying to move the Character tokens.

What device and browser are you and your players using? Do the players tokens have Vision set up, and do they have a Light source enabled on them?

Hi Gold, Just to let you know, the issue was an improperly sized canvas, it had been cut to about half the height of the map. I have resolved the issue for Old School.
Hello Again: Thank you Gauss, for helping me. Sorry, Gold that I didn't get back here to let you know the issue was resolved. But I certainly appreciate your aid nonetheless.
