[LFP] [DND 5E 2014] [Fridays 8:00pm PST] [18+] The Crooked Moon, a folk horror campaign

Hello, I am looking for 4-5 players that would like to play in a campaign that will run from Level 1 to 13. Disclaimer, I am a fairly new DM, I have DM'd a total of about 4 or 5 sessions but have quickly fallen in love with DM'ing.   Ruleset: 5E (2014) Language: English Pay to play?: No Session Duration: 3.5-4 hours Setting: Wickermoor Hollow, Druskenvald Days /Time: Fridays, 8pm PST (Every other week) Voice and Video:  Discord for Voice required, video optional Game Experience Level: Brand new/open to all Age Requirements: 18+ Homebrew/Other Info:  All official sources are allowed.  Choosing one of the character options from the Crooked Moon (races, subclasses, or backgrounds) is highly recommended & Preferable. Note that all the Crooked Moon options are for the 2014 rules.   Game Info: Somewhere, lost in the shrouded realms of death, lies a land of endless night where long-forgotten horrors are revealed to those who travel through the mist. All abord the Ghostlight Express, and welcome to the shrouded realm of Druskenvald. You are about to embark upon a journey into the unknown, where uncanny folk with strange superstitions revere the Old Ways, and creatures of folklore lurk on the isolated fringes of civilization.   Now is the time to brave the dark wood, beware the witching hour, and weave your own dreadful folktale underneath the Crooked Moon.   This folk horror campaign will take characters from levels 1-13. New and Veteran players alike are welcome, as long as you're willing a chill up your spine!   ---------------------------------------------------- **Please answer the following questions** • Are you familiar with 5E 2014 rules? • How long have you been playing D&D if at all? • What do you enjoy the most when playing in a D&D campaign? • What topics or themes are you not okay with?   (Optional Question)  • Do you already have a character in mind that you would like to play? If so, what is it?
• Are you familiar with 5E 2014 rules? Yes • How long have you been playing D&D if at all? I started about 12-13 years ago, actually began with 4E but once 5E was released, I immediately switched over and as far as D&D editions go, it is the only one I play. I have played a multitude of other TTRPGs and am pretty adaptable when it comes to standard or homebrew rules. • What do you enjoy the most when playing in a D&D campaign? The roleplay and character development, especially with other players. • What topics or themes are you not okay with?  I'm typically okay with most if it is done respectfully. I don't like SA-related stuff or child abuse, but I can understand if it may be a part of a character's(PC or NPC) backstory. Again, I stress this being done respectfully if it is done at all. (Optional Question)  • Do you already have a character in mind that you would like to play? If so, what is it? Some flavor of a Goblin Rogue/Ranger. i've never played Crooked Moon but I am certainly interested in seeing how the subclasses/race options work.
• Are you familiar with 5E 2014 rules? Yes am very familiar, though i havent played in like 2 years, but i still remember that stuff well • How long have you been playing D&D if at all? I have been playing for about 6 years i believe, i fell in love with it, although i havent played in a while am open to going back. • What do you enjoy the most when playing in a D&D campaign? I love everything, the problem solving, the roleplay discussions, the planning ahead, the fighting, the story twists, ill say in this order i love the aspects most. • What topics or themes are you not okay with? I mean am generally okay with anything done respectfully, that feels within the norm, just nothing too weird, there is no reason to bring that stuff into the game.   (Optional Question)  • Do you already have a character in mind that you would like to play? If so, what is it? I have many characters, am willing to adapt to the party's needs, i have an aarokcra bounty hunter rogue, who spent his life as a bounty hunter and versed in the underworld, but got imprisoned for something idk lol, then he got back out and he's on the run now. I also love playing magic wielding characters so.

**Please answer the following questions** • Are you familiar with 5E 2014 rules? No, I think I played with pregen characters in a once shot at a con but it might have been a different vs.  • How long have you been playing D&D if at all? Started playing when I was a teen, and it's been .... over 20 years, I have not been doing much table top in the last five years and we played pathfinder most of the time. I have experience with dozens of systems from VtM, L5R, BESM, Pathfinder, M&M, DC Heros, Pathfinder, Runequest, and more that I can't think of off the top of my head. • What do you enjoy the most when playing in a D&D campaign? Collaborative storytelling, interacting with other players and the DM.  • What topics or themes are you not okay with? Nothing, as long as there are no creepy are they talking to me or to my character vibes.    (Optional Question)  • Do you already have a character in mind that you would like to play? If so, what is it? Not really, I have seen the group playing the one shots but have not had the opportunity to look at the campaign / world setting yet I often play rangers, fighters or druids, an occasional cleric and rogue.  FYI I live in Arizona, we don't do daylight savings so fun with time zones should be anticipated I go by She/Her My spelling is sh*t
