Token Action Maker and Jumpstart

I absolutely loved this script...until the update to Jumpstart and the new character sheets. It doesn't work. It says that it has created token actions, but non exist. Is there a fix? A new script? This script made combat so much more manageable. I want it back! Thanks.

Hi Myrrh,  Jumpgate doesn't have anything to do with Token Action Maker working or not working. It still works fine with the D&D 5e 2014 sheet that it was designed to work for. Even in Jumpgate games.  When you say "new character sheets" I assume you mean the D&D 5e 2024 character sheet. Token Action Maker is not designed to work with that sheet. All sheets on Roll20 are different from each other, and most API Scripts that are made have to be made with a specific sheet in mind.  With that said, it is on Roll20's radar to create a D&D 5e 2024 version of Token Action Maker, so someday in the future it may happen.  In the meantime, I suggest using the D&D 5e 2014 sheets for your NPCs (monsters). You will still be able to use TAM for that. 

Thank you for your quick response. I did notice that it works with the 2014 sheets. It just creates an issue with games that only have the 2024 monsters and players who have created their characters with the 2024 sheet. I suppose I can swap out all the monsters for the 2014 versions, but making new character sheets for the players, especially if they have leveled up, is a nightmare.

Hi Myhh! I'm the coder for Token Action Make. I am in close communication with Roll20 on the matter of coming up with a solution for making Token Actions on the 2024 sheet. Currently it is not possible, but recent work has made me hopeful. Rest assured that when there is a working solution, I will post it everywhere I can, and Roll20 will almost certainly blast It in social media channels. It has been a major request since the introduction of the D&D 5e (2024) Sheet. (and much longer for me, since I started shouting about this back when the first Beacon-based sheets started appearing). At this point, I do not know if it will be a standalone script, or a patch to the current Token Action Maker. I'll know more as the code becomes possible.

Thank you, Keith. I just tried adding the 2014 monsters to the game. Token Action Maker creates the tokens, but when I click on them I get this error message: "We cannot process this chat action because it involves characters with different types of character sheets. Please select characters that have the same type of character sheet." How do I fix that? Thanks.

Myrrh,  Make sure your 2014 characters do not have the same name  as the 2024 characters. Roll20 doesn't know which character is which when they have the same name.
