Seeking 2 Players for a Fast-Paced, No-Dice Roleplay Adventure!

Hey adventurers! I’m a DM looking for two creative, story-loving players to join a unique no-dice pen & paper RPG, played online via Roll20 on Fridays, 7–10 PM CET / 5–8 PM UTC , once or twice a month. What’s “No-Dice” Roleplay? Forget clattering dice and endless modifiers—this game is pure storytelling and improvisation . Instead of “roll to hit,” you act it out . Your choices, words, and creativity shape the world—no random number generator required. Example: Want to shoot a goblin? Describe your aim, your stance, your arrow flying—then I’ll narrate how the goblin reacts. Maybe it ducks in time, maybe not. Your trust in the table’s sense of fairness is key. Need to persuade a guard? Charm them with your words—no persuasion check to save you! If the guard’s gullible, you might get through. If not… you’ll have to get creative. After months of running this with friends, I can promise: it’s smooth, fast, cinematic and full of “wow” moments —if you can: Say “Yes, and…” instead of blocking ideas. Leave room for others’ reactions. Keep your turns tight—no endless monologues. Embrace setbacks to make victories epic. Worlds We Could Explore: Low Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Star Wars, Star Trek, Horror, Pirates, Westerns, Stone Age… we’ll decide together. Character Guidelines: No superheroes, chosen-ones, or overpowered gods—real challenges make the story exciting! Balanced strengths and weaknesses. Clear goals and motivations. If this sounds like your kind of game, send me a message with your interest or questions. Let’s make something unforgettable together. PM or comment when you're interested. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Generally interested, but we would need a small adjustment of time! (by like an hour either way) :D As someone who has played Forum RPGs and Pathfinder 1E for years, and loves voice acting as well roleplaying in general, what you propose absolutely jabs my vibe. Depending on the intended story, I have lots of ideas for maybe playing multiversal-like canon characters, or maybe something entirely of my own making. I approve balancing strengths and weaknesses, though I tend to lean towards extremes in that regards ~ cool flashy strengths, significant weaknesses. No questions yet, but consider me a hype-man!
This is exciting to me as well. I've always been attracted to Storyteller based systems in the past like Exalted or Mage: The Ascension, and have recently started exploring more rules-light systems like Kids on Bikes. I love creating new characters with interesting backstories and three dimensional personalities, so this would be something right up my alley. I have over two decades experience roleplaying in person and online, going as far back as text-based MUD environments. Playing a diceless game is an exciting idea, and I am into it. Let me know if you need any more information.
