Welcome to another Roundup! We have another watch party this week to escape the heat, here’s what we’ll be watching:
Watching community member Rogue Watson convert the 1989 dungeon crawling adventure game Shadowgate into Roll20 The preview of our newest party management tools as we all start using it in our game Want to learn more about that second thing? Let’s dive right in:
Available now in ALL Jumpgate games! A dashing duo of quality of
life improvement features that’ll make wrangling your party easier than
ever during your sessions:
Define Party allows GMs to quickly and easily
make it official with their crew: adventurers, sidekicks, familiars, and more now have a “Party Member” property that can be toggled on/off in
the right-click context menu or from the Character Sheet. Place Party gives GMs a two-click shortcut to
pull all defined party members to a location of their choice, all while
updating the player ribbon and pinging focus to the desired location.
We’ve loved seeing your reaction to this feature so far, keep
letting us know how it’s been in your games, either here or in the
forums! Check out our latest blog post to learn more about these new
features: <a href="https://blog.roll20.net/posts/define-and-place-party/" rel="nofollow">https://blog.roll20.net/posts/define-and-place-party/</a>

Legend In The Mist is inspired by works of fiction about everyday heroes from rural communities that embark on a journey such as The Lord Of The Rings , Princess Mononoke , Wheel of Time , and even The Wind In The Willows.
Unlikely heroes: Start off in your village or remote region and contend with everyday problems, just before a darker danger looms. Journeys in the countryside and wilderness: scout, explore, traverse landscapes dark or beautiful, discover ruins, or find forgotten landmarks. Camping and fellowship: Set camp, train, craft items and brew potions, and build relationships with your fellow travelers. Dangerous encounters: Face unscrupulous travelers and strange creatures, and learn about their sorcerous ways and weaknesses. Ancient lore, crafty factions: Discover the great world beyond, the powers that be, and the dark past that started it all. More than just battles: Overcome challenges
through battle, magic, wits, physical feats, charm, cunning - or love,
gossip, or great cooking - anything is possible. Carve your fate: Make hard choices that will
shape you. Will you become the hero to save the realm, or just a
traveler passing by? The choice is yours.

Roll20 | Jumpgate Updates:
Added the new right click context menu options, "Bring Party Here" and "Define Party." These let you select a group of tokens to define
their characters as Party members, and the "Bring Party Here" button
will bring all tokens for characters that are party members onto the
current page. Resolved an issue where copied & pasted drawings would not persist or be invisible upon reloading the VTT Resolved an issue where the Mod Script Sandbox caused issues with
incorrectly remapped Image URLs, causing duplicate turn tracker entries
for scripts like CombatMaster, and other odd behavior. The Page Settings Menu now decrements below 1 grid cell size in
increments of 0.25 instead of 0.2, to match the prior menu's behavior Released a powerup for the Image Texture Resolution dropdown. Switching Settings > Graphics > Image Texture Resolution to medium or low should now help more users load pages with very high quantities of
tokens, drawings, and/or text, as well as very high quality textures. If you've ever come up against an error that says "WebGL Context Lost,"
this might help.
Roll20 | D&D 2024 Character Sheet & Builder Updates:
Added functionality for Optional Species Features (from books like Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide) in the Builder's Species slide. Fixed a bug where NPC legendary actions would sometimes default to 0 instead of 3. In the manage items modal, you now have the ability to switch
between incremental editing and number input editing for the quantity of items. Updated NPC Inline Editing to allow for empty lists of traits and actions. Users of the Loot Manager (Shops and Treasure sheets) can now
increase item quantity up to 1,000,000 each from the previous maximum of 99. When adding a new action or trait in NPC stat block view, the
sheet will auto-scroll to the newly added item if it's not in view Fixed a bug where Damage was sometimes incorrectly rolling bonuses or dice when rolling directly from chat Fixed a bug where adding new features to a custom Background or
Species were being reordered on the fly. Features created will only be
resorted by level after saving.
Demiplane Updates:
Massive patch update this week! Too big for this post so you can find it here!
Every NEXUS got quite a bit of love!
Demiplane + Roll20 | Beta Integration Updates:
Work continues on the next phase of the integration. (No, we don’t have anything to share quite yet but it will improve your experiences
on the VTT quite a bit!)
