Hi, my name is Zaylee. I'm 20 yrs old and have 4 years experience as a DM. I'm currently creating something new. after trying to find inspiration for who knows how long I finally came across an idea I wanted to expand upon. This idea was an unending or endless winter, here ill copy the concept. "The magical furnace in the middle of your town is what keeps the area warm enough for you to live without freezing. the area outside of the furnace is completely and utterly inhabitable without knowledge of survival. You and your party have taken on the leadership role of your community and need to sort out everyones needs and wishes, while making sure you have enough magical items to keep the furnace going.
This has been going on for 3 months now. One day the sun didnt shine like it once did and snow covered all of the lands. no one knows just for sure where everything is, the map is completely useless. We need to make a new one. Our food supply is low, We need more artifacts to keep this furnace going. We need to survive. youve been at the furnace only a few days and have built up small but sturdy shelters, you have your community of 9 (excluding you 4) living in the town so far. you will dictate how you run this town..."
TLDR: Furnace in the town needs magical items so you can keep everyone safe.
Players will go out into dungeons and dark depths to recover artifacts to keep their town safe. Maybe theyll decide make the townsfolk go out to get items as well, risking their lives. Or maybe they will find the secret to revert the ice age and save the frickin world!
