Using Animated Spells from Marketplace

Not sure if this is possible, or if it has been asked before. Is there a way to link an animated spell that you purchase from the marketplace, to a players spell so that it shows when they cast. For instance, if a wizard casts fireball on a monster is there a way to show the animated fireball spell in that area when they cast it. Would be cool if this is possible to make things more emersive.

Hi Thomas M.,  You can set the image as a token on a Character. Then drag the character to the table.  Or, you can use an API Script that will pull the image from your Art Library (it will need to be downloaded from the marketplace and uploaded as the API doesn't have access to Marketplace images). If you want to go this route I'd ask the folks in the Mods (API Scripts) forum for guidance on which Script or to come up with a script if one doesn't exist.
I might try both those routes. I'm thinking too if I can make the animation a token and give it permissions for the Character I can just stick it in a folder and they can use it as needed. Though I wish there was a way to have that done automatically, that might be a work around. Thank you!

Marketplace template products going back over a decade reference this technique.

Just to be aware of it, is if you buy ADD-ON products (of Animated Spells) from Roll20 Marketplace instead of just animated art-packs.&nbsp; The difference is, Add-On products can install "Characters" into your Journal. These ones come with the Animated Spell tokens already set-up as Journal characters that you can drag and drop: <a href="https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/gameaddon/15355/the-deck-of-many-animated-spellcraft-deck-and-token-addon" rel="nofollow">https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/gameaddon/15355/the-deck-of-many-animated-spellcraft-deck-and-token-addon</a> <a href="https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/gameaddon/517/pixels-animated-spell-pack-1-animation-pack" rel="nofollow">https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/gameaddon/517/pixels-animated-spell-pack-1-animation-pack</a> Screenshot of Roll20 Add-Ons
