Ability Moddifiers not being added to damage.

Checked on a few sheets in a game I play in, and the problem seems to persist for me and another player.

Hi James,  Which character sheet are you using?
If I could reiterate on this thread, I'm also experiencing this in my game. I'm using the jumpgate with D&D 5E 2024 By Roll20 character sheet. I've narrowed down that if the character sheet uses the option to automatically roll damage, the damage is not adding in ability modifiers but does add in other mods (like rage damage bonus for example). I confirmed that on the sheet the damage shows correctly, like 2d6+4, but it only rolls the 2d6 when auto-rolled. However, if the player clicks just the damage portion to roll damage alone, it does add in the ability damage. We all like to use auto-rolling, so this is unfortunate.
Wasn't this reported last week? It's still happening as I type this. If you use "Always Roll Damage", the damage rolls incorrectly. Rolling damage from the chat works properly. I learned that last week from these very forums.
I didn't see a separate thread about this issue (other than this one). Regardless, I hope that it gets fixed soon, seems like a pretty major bug.
I find I am having to check every single roll result because there are so many bugs. +8? Should be just +4!
Thanks for the reports on the auto-rolling damage bug - the fix is moving into QA today so it should be to you soon! Nicholas said: I find I am having to check every single roll result because there are so many bugs. +8? Should be just +4!   I took a peek at your game and this seems to be correct based on this character's data - according to your builder choices (screenshot below), you chose Stealth to have Expertise. This means that you get double your proficiency bonus, which is currently +4. So, the +8 is just something special you get as a rogue, lucky you!
Oh, sorry, of course!
Awesome, thanks for the quick fix!
Ability modifiers are not being added to damage rolls. Is this being sorted because it is still an issue for me?
