Hello there! My name is Joshua but Josh will work for those of you that doesn't allow UA. I've been playing D&D for around twenty years with the vast majority of that time spend as a DM. While I absolutely adore running games within my homebrew worlds, I have found myself seeking to indulge in the other side of the screen. As a player, I covet character growth and roleplay and wish to indulge heavily in the lore and characters of the world. While I enjoy combat, I typically prefer more roleplay or intrigue related games. That being said, I aim to approach combats with a fresh lens and style as I flavour and describe my failures and successes. I do not have any existing concepts for characters, it is a preference of mine to craft a character that fits the world as opposed to insert one into it by force. I love playing characters that fit a niche in a group and have a list of flaws and traits that make them feel organic/interesting.
