Token Tooltips no longer showing for Players

I have a game where I am using a map with tokens for landmarks with Tool Tips enabled so players can mouse over as a reminder of what they are.  Up until tonight's session, the players could mouse over and see the tool tips (at least they described it as working haha -- I didn't test personally before).  As of today -- regardless of the token's tooltip setting (they are all set to "Show"), none of them appear to players. We are using a mix of Chrome, Edge and Firefox between us.  All the same behavior.  If I "re-join as player" to test it out, I cannot see any of the tool tips in player mode.  Back in GM mode, I see them all just fine. Anyone else experiencing this?  I haven't changed any token, game or map settings in-between last week and today.  None of the tokens are linked to character sheets.  The tool tips just don't show if you have player permissions.

Hi Guy,  I was not able to replicate this.  Could you PM me an invite to your game so that I may try to replicate this?

I can confirm. Tooltips are currently invisible to anyone who does not control the tooltipped character. At least on Chrome/Mac/Jumpgate. I actually like this better, but it is not the expected behavior. I'll make a report.

I oopsed, Keith is right. I missed the lack of player permissions difference. I can replicate this also.

That's going to fuck up how I use Token Tooltips in 13th Age & The One Ring games. Fortunately all my active games are Classic, not Jumpgate.

I doubt this is intentional or lasting. But I hope it does hint that the option to do this is coming soon...

I have received word that this has been fixed. If you are still seeing this behavior, try  deleting cache and cookies ( Chrome  |  Firefox ), to ensure that the browser is not holding on to old data, and then logging out and back in again, to ensure that you have the latest code. If you still experience this behavior, please report back and I'll pass it on.

I received an update for my ticket, and I can confirm this is fixed in my The One Ring Jumpgate game. Huzzah!

I can confirm that the issue appears to be resolved on my end as well.  Tooltips set to "Show" are appearing when I'm logged in as GM and Player.  Thank you for the help!
