Change to Notification re: Downloadable Assets

It appears that there is no longer a warning when an asset pack is not available for download. I recently purchased something and it is not available for download, despite this being different from all past offerings of this creator and despite no warning being given before purchase. I get it. Roll20 is falling apart. The failed integration with Demiplane is likely leading to users fleeing to other services. That someone might buy something through Roll20 and use it with another platform may be seen as a loss for the platform. Indeed, the only reason I made this purchase here was because this creator is not currently offering their wares through other platforms. It appears that I have to take all of my purchases elsewhere. I will have to contact my favourite creators and see if I can help them move to other platforms.

Products not being available for download is a creator decision, not a Roll20 decision.  If a creator normally allows their products to be available for download then perhaps there was an oops with that product.  Where are you seeing the policy change? Is there a particular product?

Yeah, I bought a product without the warning and now it cannot be downloaded. So if the creator made the decision (by accident, if at all), there should have been a warning. I certainly don't want to single out the creator. At best, this is a problem just for me and people like me caused by the volume of purchases we have made. That's yet another problem. It seems that this team needs some remedial database training across the board.

Please provide the product name so that the problem can be resolved. Either so that it can be downloaded if the creator wishes or so that the notice that it is not downloadable can be added.  My guess, there are switches for each option, and someone forgot to hit the correct switch.  Also, you can always refund the product. Roll20 has an excellent Refund Policy .
I've been in touch with the creator. Even if the creator didn't hit the right option, this doesn't excuse the failure of warning.  This is a significant shift in operations and customer communications. It is not unexpected, given the company's apparent situation, but still disheartening.
