I had an idea for a game to run and threw together some characters. Currently looking for players to fill in the gap for a cautiously paced, player driven Spheres of Might game. Players will start with a mission in a coastal city and decide where to go from there. Magic, save for rituals, is almost entirely the domain of monsters. Humans are the most abundant race by far, and other playable races do not stray far from the civilized mold. The characters begin at first level and are as follows: Hannos (Human Savant): A Gothic wandering warrior, nervous of disposition but oddly inured to otherworldly horrors. A straightforward switch hitter with an oversized blade who can boost his BAB, mimic others' skills, and change his fighting style daily at higher levels in his class. Fetch (Human Unchained Monk [Street Fighter]): A slippery martial artist with street thief tendencies and an overprotective streak. Focused on multi-attacking and maneuvers, with some in-combat defense options and a burglar's skillset outside of fights. Higher levels will make for a swift and acrobatic warrior with the ability to draw on ki for superhuman feats of will. Cynwulf the Raider (Human Fighter [Fracture, Runsinger]): An opportunistic tattooed highlander brigand who wields strange tribal powers. A brutal sword and board fighter with a complement of mystic runes that give him additional attack and movement options in fights, and is a competent survivalist off the battlefield. At higher levels in his class, he becomes a mobile and option dense combatant. Guiliana Estrella (Witchborn Changeling Scholar): A vain but personable researcher and scholar of the natural arts. A capable healer with many skills and alchemical support options, with the ability to use and research magic ritual books; the closest thing to a "true" magician most will find. At higher levels, her class becomes an extremely versatile jack-of-all-trades who can do anything she sets her mind to. Kenshar Bernardo (Leonine Catfolk Mageknight ["Knight Adept"]): An imposing and proud wandering knight with a touch of beastblood and supernatural potential. He is capable as both a charismatic leader on and off the battlefield, and a durable slayer of men otherwise. Higher levels in his class will grant flexible supernatural abilities that push the limits of martial training. Funabashi Kiri (Vishyanka Unchained Rogue [Deadly Assassin]): A charming and hedonistic shapeshifting snake woman who plays both assassin and courtesan. She is an adept poisoner with a variety of underhanded skills who can debilitate and murder foes with equal measure. At higher levels in her class, she becomes a flexible and guileful killer equally as comfortable in a fight as without. Certain parts of a character's toolset and origins may dictate how they play at first, but much is left to the player's discretion to shape how they see fit. Experienced and new players are both equally welcome; I am generally permissive as a GM and don't mind optimized characters, but I subscribe to the notion of sportsmanship and will not tolerate players who seek to upstage the rest of the party beyond reasonable limits. I primarily coordinate over Discord as I am less familiar with Roll20's interface and mostly run theater of the mind. I prefer to run weekly or every other week (as player schedules allow) and will run as long as half the party shows up, so show up if you want to play the game.
