Armour and Shield Keeps Repeating?

I'm new to this version of the sheets and like them very much. However, I've discovered my players' sheets have their armour and shield repeating. I'm not sure how, exactly. They are relatively easy to remove. Any idea what causes this? Two examples follow: Thanks for any help on this. -- Tim

Hi Tim, Definitely not intended behavior...  Is there anything else you might add to the event(s) leading up to the additional entries?  Was this an older character that was updated to the revised sheet perhaps?  Most importantly, is it repeatable?  The sheet syncs armor/shield and equipment which was/is a rather complicated bit of coding to accomplish.  Given that you are seeing armor and shield being replicated would lead me to look to this syncing function as the culprit.  Which I'll do BTW.  I know of one person that has reported a similar "glitch".  They have a rather complicated setup with the sheet that uses lot's of API interaction and game resources/assets.  These have only happened rarely and we haven't been able to replicate the problem.  Given this function seems to work as expected 99% of the time, I've chalked this up to something outside the sheet. But, this makes me wonder if it could be an issue with my particular programing of that portion of the sheet and maybe the VTT lagging, poor connection, DM and layer looking/editing the sheet simultaneously, etc. that causes a timing issue.  I really don't know TBH.  Replicating a problem is half the battle to finding the solution though.
OK, found where I was. How embarrassing. 🙄 One of my friends made a video and I think I understand what is happening. Unfortunately, we can't upload mp4s here. The only thing I can see is that it appears there were armour and shield items listed as "gear" when he was adding things for other players. The other players may have been on at the same time, waiting for him to confirm that. However, I cannot reproduce the issue myself. -- Tim

Thanks Tim.  I'm investigating. updated this with my questions that were posted in other topic thread; Hi Tim, apologies for a round of "20 questions"; 1. Is this happening with every character? 2. Are these the same characters where you noticed this previously? 3. Does it happen with a brand new character? 4. Does it appear to only revolve around armor items? If so, how were these items added? ie from the Armor Details section or as Equipment|Armor (add item button)? 5. After you "tidy" a sheet up, does it stay tidied? 6. Most importantly, can you reproduce? (steps?) Again, sorry for all the questions but they are necessary to help me nail down the culprit.

Edit: I give up. There's obviously something wrong with me. None of the direct imgur links work. F me raw, I'm absolutely done. I'll try to make something up in Google docs or something So from my messing around, it appears using the Armour Details section to add or edit armour has an issue in coordinating with the Armor Tab of the Equipment section. Here is a user who had Chain Mail "gift" entered as Armor 2 of the Armor Details screen. He deletes it and enters it as Armor 1. See Imgur link:&nbsp; <a href="https://i.imgur.com/LTcVLFW.jpg" rel="nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/LTcVLFW.jpg</a> However, the Armor Details does not similarly delete the corresponding entry in the Equipment section Armor tab. It just adds an extra entry. See Imgur link:&nbsp; <a href="https://i.imgur.com/vZteORX.jpg" rel="nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/vZteORX.jpg</a> So what I am trying to do after I delete the multiple entries in other characters' sheets such as this one - See Imgur Link:&nbsp; <a href="https://i.imgur.com/l0p5SIw.jpg" rel="nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/l0p5SIw.jpg</a> &nbsp;is to write cautions in three places on the Equipment section Armor tab - to include both the carried and not carried tabs. Thanks for the reply Tim. That helps me quite a bit. As-is, the sheet doesn't delete the item from Equipment|Armor when you delete it from Armor Details. Probably doesn't get set as not carried either. It should, but I'll have to check.&nbsp; I believe I was trying to prevent someone from accidentally deleting an armor item "entirely" when they simply removed it from Armor Details.&nbsp; Best intentions = Confusion&nbsp; lol I suppose the item should be removed from Equipment if it's deleted from Armor Details to prevent any confusion?&nbsp; Would this be the expected behavior? p.s. it's been reported that users in the UK and possibly other regions may have imgur images blocked on roll20.&nbsp; Perhaps you are experiencing this with your image posts?&nbsp; Not sure.

Update: This has been addressed in the beta code (see in beta game). Deleting items from the Armor Details will also delete them from equipment. Should solve orphaned/duplicate entries in equipment.&nbsp; This won't fix any existing "orphans", but it should prevent them going forward.&nbsp; I will probably push code out later in the week.

Hi Vince, I have a question for you.. Was something changed in the STR - Open Doors section?&nbsp; &nbsp; All of my open doors are showing percentage, but the macro uses the 1d6 method.&nbsp; &nbsp; It is like this for every character sheet in my game.&nbsp; &nbsp; If I edit the STR and put it back to its value, it changes it to the d6 version.&nbsp; &nbsp;Thoughts?&nbsp; &nbsp; Thanks in advance Before: After:

I should be able to write something to check for this (look for a non-d6 value in&nbsp; @{minorstrengthfeat}, &nbsp;if true, recalc STR). Fixed. Thanks for catching that Tilt
