Cone light / Player's view

Hi all ! Well, first of all, I must apologize for my poor English, it's not my native language :) So, basically, I'm using Dynamic Lighting since a few weeks and I really have to say that it's awesome. But, it would be great if the light source could emit toward a certain angle (like in a cone), to represent which side the PC is looking at with his lamp... Second, I realized that there are no specific view for each player: the light source is either seen by all PC or not. You can not select which player can see a light source or not. This could be useful if the group splits for example. Each PC can only see the light bearer if the latter is within a certain radius... I don't know if I made myself understandable. Sorry again for my English. Angeldust
i like both suggestions but the first i like more.  adding in a degree box that allows for values of 1-360, then you could set the view as narrow or as wide as you want.  then you can just rotate your token to set the view direction. for the second, having a drop down list light view permissions box would be nice, especiall if you are pvping one team against another and want to use dynamic lighting to split the teams up, as it is now, you can really only make it every man for himself.

You can currently select individual PCs by selecting who has control over a token.  If you want a single PC to see a light source then go into the token settings and set that player as the token controller. Do not checkmark the all players can see box. Now only that player can see that light source.  - Gauss
Hum ok ! Nice trick ! But I guess the player will be able to move the light source too ? Or can I put it on the light layer ?

Unfortunately, placing it on the map or DL layer wont allow a single user to see the light source (bug). But, if the player can be adult and not move it if they aren't supposed to then it will work. :) - Gauss
+1 to cone of light/Field of vision.
