Hi VTTeamPlayers! I'm David, the dev responsible for D&D 2024 Shops & Treasure (or "Loot Manager," as we call the pair together). Unfortunately, the answer for now is that this is not a bug - but I have good news, too. In developing Shops, it was my hope that granting View access would allow players to do exactly as you've said: click on a Shop's token or on a treasure chest in a dungeon and open it themselves. However, the VTT does not currently have the concept of None/View/Edit in terms of a token being selectable - a token can only be selected by someone with Edit access. Now the good news: we have discussed this internally and are hoping to be able to change this behavior, so this may not always be the case. If you haven't heard of our upcoming Map Pins feature yet, it's worth looking into: You'll be able to drag handouts from the Journal onto a map and allow players without Edit access to interact with them - I've tried it out on our testing VTT and it's great. I'd like us to take this technology and apply it to Sheets as well, so that we can benefit from it fully for Shop and Treasure sheets and have them working exactly as you and I had hoped they would. In the mean time, I can recommend the way that I handle this in my games: When players approach a shop or a chest, I ALT-double-click the token to quickly open the sheet myself, and then - as you already identified - click "Share to Group." While I would like players to be able to open these themselves, this pattern at least gets it front of them in just 3 quick clicks and instantly grants them View access if they didn't already have it, saving a lot of time as opposed to searching through the journal for the right shop or treasure. I hope this info was helpful, and I am really looking forward to getting to do more work on the Loot Manager to continue expanding on these tools! Let me know if you have any other questions.
