Thank you Roll20

I just started using Roll20 and let me just say one thing, Thank You. It's a great and simple program for even dummies like me. Best of all is the easy way to invite players without needing any routing information. The Voice and Video chat work great. I love how you can drag and drop maps and images. The Forum is great and everyone seems real helpful. Love this program. Great job Guys!
Glad you love it. I have the same response every time I play. If it wasn't for roll20 my 6 guy group wouldn't be playing at all anymore as everyone has moved to various places that are not where I live.
That's why it's great. Rock on 2nd Edition
Thanks, it's always nice to hear some positive feedback :-)
I keep telling everyone the same thing, Matthew. I started with Fantasy Grounds 2 and the interface was just to hard to GM from. Once I discovered Roll20 I found my GM home.
Yes I agree +1. The system is great and still improving, everyone on the forum is friendy and very helpful, access to games and players is fast and easy, and the system is free without a gimmick to get you to buy it while still having a paid service with some great features and real purpose behind it. Like I said, it's great in the very true sence of the word. Thank you R20.
+1. Most of my friends are not nearby, so Roll20 has let me keep gaming with them.
Being in a country where tabletop gaming is not an established activity is never easy. But thanks to you guys I can keep the dice rollin' , keep gaming with my old crew, and compare notes with other gamers. Gracias, Roll20!
I would also like to thank the roll20 team, almost all of my friends have moved around the country, some in different countries and without roll20 we would not be able to play together. Thank You Roll20!
Roll20 has been a boon for me (I mean, just look at how much hours I've already logged into this thing). It's finally allowed me to be selective and play with my friends across the country instead of being forced to play with the racist and sexist bridge troll in the group because it's the only game in town. It's even introduced me to games I would have never had the opportunity to play before. It's helped me become a better GM by leaps and bounds. Not all of the kinks have been worked out, but it's great being a part of this and watching it grow.
Thank you so much roll20, I've been struggling for almost 2 years building something like this.  Off and on again with other life issues and projects, it's so fantastic that you've created exactly what I had imagined (and more).

+1 Indeed

yep. Roll20 is pretty much the best. I wish I had money to throw at it :(

For the most part, I play my games at a table with friends. We started using Roll20 (on multiple laptops) because it's much more convenient for map layouts and tokens than map boards and miniatures. Then we started using the journal... and the dice roller... and the macros... and fog of war... and... and... and... I just got the yearly supporter upgrade. We don't really need the program because we've played for years without it. I don't need or use the upgrades such as dynamic lighting or mobile support. I suppose at sometime I will start making use of the extra storage capabilities, but as of yet I don't. The reason I upgraded and put my money into this is because... it's worth it. It's a great business model and it is exceptionally well supported. I've used a few other tabletop programs and had many more issues. When I've tried to get help... it was a long time coming or non-existent. With Roll20, I've been able to find every answer I've needed... already in the help docs or the forums... and the forums might be the most valuable asset going here. I'm amazed at how quickly the developers are on the case and their willingness to jump into games and sort out issues. I'm amazed at how strong the community is in terms of helping people out. I'm amazed at how well the developers and the community work together to continually improve this resource. That's worth paying for and supporting!
Here, here!  Just tried our first game last Saturday.  My buddy and I played Strange Aeons which is a Cthulhu themed minis game.  We had a blast!  Everything worked beautifully.  We'll be taking turns GMing and running the evil cultists and various Lovecraftian monstrosities against our Threshold Agents!  I've already built my map and can't wait till he sees the dynamic lighting I've added.   Full on bravos to all developers.   Cthulhu F'tagn!
+1 The great thing about Roll20 is that unlike its name suggest it really is about being a VTT not just a d20 system virtualization. Extra +1 for the new extra stuff for Mentors which really were needed to compensate the double cost.
