Curse of Strahd, Reloaded LFP Wed, 830pEST

Hello to anyone reading. I have a small group of excited players interested in playing TTRPGs and we are looking to fill our ranks with a few more like minded people. We are about to start a new 2024 5e game of "Curse of Strahd, Reloaded". Below I have listed a few bullet points to help describe our little group.  We are an older crowd, ranging from 35 to about 46 years old. If you are younger that is fine just be aware of our outdated jokes. We have some theatre and improv nerds in the group, so we like the roleplay aspect of TTRPGs.  We are an LGBT friendly group, and some of our members fall in the category.  I, the GM, have been running games since the early 90's, and currently run a few games a week.  My players are a fun bunch who don't take things too seriously.  This will be a mature game as one of my players, my wife, swears like a sailor.  We will be using discord with  talk and video . Hello there, my name is Ben, you can call me Ghost or Bell too. I been playing TTRPGs since I was introduced to DD 3.5 in 2009 while at my college. I played a little Pathfinder 1st and 2nd ed, Shadowrun, Vampire the Masquerade, Call of Cthulhu, and Mekton Zeta, but D&D 5e is the one I played the most(I really wanted to find a group for Mechwarrior Legends but no on ever runs a game T_T). I was mainly a forever DM so I had fun with an even mix of 30/30/40/10 fo Combat, RP, Exploration, and Puzzles. I also love to ham it up in my character roles but I can be a little silly too. I hope you have a slot for me in your little group.

I'm Maeve (they/she) and i was introduced to ttrpgs through actual plays (crit role, adventure zone, etc) around 2016-2017. I haven't done a whole lot outside of 5e and that's only been with 2014 rules but am interested in exploring other systems, particularly PBtA games. I'm 22 so would be the baby of the group but don't really mind that. Full cards on the table i've played Curse of Strahd before back when i first started playing but remember very little and i also like to consider myself pretty good at not meta-gaming (to my understanding strahd can be pretty different between playthroughs anyway).

The name's Casey (he/him). I'm 41 and have been playing games on and off since highschool. In fact I've been GMing for a long term group for the past 9 years in different systems. I've played a little bit of everything, from Delta Green to D&D. Not to mention GURPS, Cyberpunk, Starfinder, Pathfinder 1 and 2, Warhammer Fantasy, etc, etc, etc. I am LGBT so it sounds like I'll fit right in. I like the full gamut of roleplaying experience. So that means puzzle, combat, and roleplay in equal measure. I  would love to join for a session before I make any commitment, but I am interested.
