CombatMaster Issues

I've suddenly started having trouble with CombatMaster.  It's not working consistently with my players tokens to place token markers.  I thought at first that it was affecting different spells but I was wrong.   I have three player character sheets (5E OGL) that have Detect Magic spells.  When I cast from one sheet, I get an option to choose a target (which for this spell I use the caster token), I choose the token and click the option and it places the Token Marker for the spell on the token. I then get the option to choose the caster, I choose the token, click the option and it places the Token Marker for concentration on the token.  So far, so good. I now cast it from the second sheet.  I get an option to choose a target (which for this spell I use the caster token), I choose the token and click the option and it places the Token Marker for the spell on the token.  Full stop.  No option to choose the caster so the concentration token so no Token Marker for concentration appears. Now, I cast it from the third sheet.  I get an option to choose a TARGET(which for this spell I use the caster token), I choose the token and click the option and it places the Token Marker for CONCENTRATION on the token.  Full stop.  No option to choose the CASTER; however, the Token Marker for concentration has already been applied to the token but no Token Marker for THE SPELL can be made to appear. When I first noticed this after checking and confirming all CM settings I turned off all MODs except CombatMaster and libTokenMarkers.  This made no difference.  Player ribbon is on the map.  Seeing different Token Marker behavior from the same spell when cast from different character sheets isn't making sense. Any ideas?
Ok, the behavior just changed. But at least i's now consistent. Don't know if it will last. Now, when I cast the spell fram any sheet,   I get an option to choose a target (which for this spell I use the caster token), I choose the token and click the option and it places the Token Marker for the spell on the token.  Full stop.  So, CM isn't working properly for any of the sheets for this spell.  However, I tried two other spells that require concentration on the sheet that CM was originally working correctly with Detect Magic and for those spells CM functions correctly asking for a target and then asking for the caster and then properly placing the Token Markers.  It isn't working properly for any of the other sheets for any spells. I also found a wierd workaround.  When it asks for the target, if I triple click the checkmark (double clicking won't work) it will then open the option to choose the caster to place the concentration Token Marker.  However, when I triple click the check mark, it also places 3 spell Token Markers on the token.  If I click the check mark one more time (a separate fourth time) it will correct the spell Token Marker to one and then I click the checkmark on the caster option and the concentration Token Marker will appear. Still interested in a better fix if anyone has any ideas.
Ok, no one responded but at this point the problem appears to have self corrected.  At the moment, the CombatMaster is preforming correctly.
just in case, IIRC - the author of CombatMaster has stopped updating the api and isnt fully supported for 2024 sheet

I don't use and have no plans to use the 2024 sheet s that has no bearing on this issue.

Make sure override is set to off when you assign a spell with concentration.  The override logic was never fully debugged.  I use concentration all the time and don't run into this. Selected tokens and a single click of the targets checkbox is sufficient if CM has detected the concentration spell.  You should see the con status marker assigned to the spell caster and the target message box displayed in chat.  If override is off, then I'm not sure what's causing this.  Another chance if you are getting conflict with other APIs, so you might start disabling them and see if the problem goes away.

Thanks for the response, Victor B.   I've been using override with concentration with no problems previously (not arguing with you, you should know better than I) and it's been working fine since my original post. If you see this response, I have another question.  Is there a limit on the number of token markers that can be accessed by Combatmaster?  I have a large number which I could access both with CM and see in the drop down on the token.  But I just added a few more and while I can see them and add them with the token drop down, but I can't access them in CM. Edit:  Apparently , I was too impatient.  Overnight the additional token markers appeared in CM.  I am still curious about why there was a delay between the markers being available on the token drop down and them appearing in CM but it's not something I'll worry about.
