Does anyone actually play?

I've been on this site over two months, now and have contacted several GM's, and after their initial response they just disappear. Its to the point were I am just going to badmouth this site to anyone that mentions it. I came here to play some RPG's, not just post to forums. All in all, my experience with Roll20 has been -1 star out of 10. P.S. Flamers, save you vitriol, I won't be reading any comments.

I play in a Friday night Pathfinder game and I GM a Sunday 4e game. GMs exist. We're just outnumbered something like 300 to 500 to 1. Don't let a few bad experiences sour you.
Yeah, I also run 2 different games a week. I'm sorry that your experience has been awful. But keep it at. It takes a good while to find a DM and a group you like to run with. But if you've played Tabletops before. Trust me, it's worth it.
>.> I run a wednesday night game, play in a friday night game, run a saturday morning game, and use it for maps on my Sunday IRL game... I also play a couple board games (like chess) once in a while on it... Sorry to hear your experience has been negative (quite literally by your rating!) so far. Its a lot of factors that keep groups from playing, arranging a good time to meet is one of them! Try using /r/lfg on reddit, ive had good experience finding people that way!
May sound like a small thing, but change your avatar picture to something that highlights your personality. Default avatar photos scare GMs ... you look uncommitted. You need to list the games that you play in your profile. There is a general rule-of-thumb here ... experienced GMs give preference to players who list the GM's system in their profile. I do. If your game preference list is crazy long, you look desperate or well-educated (RPG-wise). Don't look desperate. List the games you know or would really learn. Good luck! /|\(;,;)/|\

And plus OTHER people might see this topic and have the same issue, so people responding and helping might help them! And I should probably change my avatar from Sterling's advice...

I say just ban 'em and move on.
Nothing constructive being discussed here. Closing this before further spiteful discussion.
