Black Friday/Cyber Monday

Back on Nov 3rd was posted in the blog (https://blog.roll20.net/posts/seasons-of-adventure-heroes-of-the-harvest/): " November 28: Save Big on D&D products with our Black Friday/Cyber Monday Deals on Roll20 and DMsGuild !" Been looking forward all month for this, check the roll20 marketplace and three items listed (2 of which I already own). Not upset over only a 30% discount (as same discounts are given on any sale, so not really big savings or Black Friday specifically), but just thought there would be more of a selection since you specifically mentioned it. On DMs guild I will admit almost 9000 products listed, almost 100% 3rd party, and digital pdfs, so would have to manually add everything to roll20 if purchased. (Of the 9000 products, only 248 are Roll20 tagged, 133 tagged also for adventures, mostly one shots or small add-on to existing content). Overall, big let down, for something mentioned in the blog, I feel you missed the mark, would have been better not mentioning this at all as feels more of a DMsGuild sale then a Roll20 sale. (I know affiliated/joined/whatever, but the wording makes it sound like there would have been a bigger selection and deals actually ON roll20, so sorry if I sound miffed). At time of this post, on Roll20 I only see Glory be to Giants, Dungeon of a Mad Mage, and Vecna Eve of Ruin.

Generally speaking I believe Roll20 follows WotC's official sales... and I have a feeling that's something they have to do, not choose to do. You can see the dndbeyond sale here https://marketplace.dndbeyond.com/BB-2025-BlackFriday?&icid_medium=organic&icid_source=bluebanner&icid_campaign=2025blackfriday&icid_content=bluebanner and I think you'll recognize a familiar set of content on sale.
I agree 100%, I was venting as if it was only going to be a small selection sale (the overall black friday sale is 19 items total, 18 if you don't count the bundle, as it isn't on sale, just a bundle discount, out of over 4000 items tagged dnd 5e on roll20, not to mention non 5e items), I don't think it warranted advertising about it in advance. Anyone who knows about Black Friday Cyber Monday knew it was coming, simply mentioning it raised expectations that weren't met (didn't have to be official wotc products, there are other dnd products on roll20 but nothing was added, shocked no other publisher wants their products discounted for potential sales). Instead of hyping up dnd sales for black friday, just a simple announcement of black friday without mentioning dnd would have been more appreciated and invoke less expectations. I know I am not the only one, a few in my discord groups also mentioned looking forward to sales, and their disappointment at the selection, I am just the only one that voiced the frustration, which I am sure there are others that feel the same but has not said anything. This was more so for maybe future sales for advertisement, if you only plan on a very small selection, perhaps not mention it until it actually goes on sale, and if a small selection, don't mention specific publishers.
