Two Friends Joining A Game

My friend and I just joined Roll20 in hopes of playing more D&D online and noticed the campaigns require applications to have us join them, which is great for vetting players but a struggle for us to know if we're getting in together or not. Is there a technical way through Roll20 that I'm missing where we can exist as a duo to apply for campaigns to play with others or is it just as simple as private messaging the GM/DMs and letting them know our situation? Thanks in advance for any and all help!

For the lfg tool, I'd say just put that in any application a game might require. I'll point out that the applications are not something that r20 requires; they're from individual GMS. There's probably as many (or more) games being run on r20 that are just friends getting together.

Yes, just to add to what Scott said, it's just communication with your prospective GM.  Sure, you could private message them, or just as easily Post openly in your application reply stating that you are a duo and only want to play if you are both invited to join together.  If this is always your intent you could also add a mention of it in your Roll20 Profile.
Thank you so much! I'll make sure to put this in my profile and share in my future applications!!
