There is an unofficial light mode created by one of the devs. It requires you to install the browser extension Stylus ( Chrome , Firefox ), and subscribe to the style. The light mode style can be found here . Note that this will change the view only for you, not your players. If they want similar capability, they will also have to install it. I use this style and find it to be fantastically more readable. I wish they would hurry up and make it official. However, it is updated regularly by dev NBrooks. Below is the sample image, though the example might not reflect the most recent changes. If you have suggestions for areas where it needs improvement, there is a thread on this style on the ROll20 Discord . And no, there is no way to convert an existing character from one sheet to another.
