Macros created in 2014 not working in 2024

I have a whole LOAD of macros which have been created in D&D 2014 which do not seem to work in D&D 2024. Am I just missing something or is there a whole new 'language' to 'learn'? :(
The 2024 sheet is built upon a different foundation (Beacon), so many (OK, almost all) of the mods written for the 2014 sheet will not work.  Roll20 has been exceedingly slow (or reticent) in opening up access to the sheet architecture so that the techwizards in the community can update or create new mods and scripts.

Hi David L.,  They are two different character sheets with different architecture as Oginme stated.  If you could post the macro code for some of your macros then we can take a look to see if there is a way to make them work in the 2024 sheet.  Note: Oginme was referencing Mods (API Scripts) , which are often run through macros but are a separate topic. If you meant Mods then it is indeed likely that they will not work right now. Most Mods will not work with the 2024 sheet.

To expand on that last sentence: Most of the class of Mods that read or manipulate character sheet data in a generic fashion (i.e. that work on all character sheets equally) have issues with or will not work on a Beacon or Demiplane based sheet. (the D&D 2024 sheet is built using Beacon). In the case of Mods that were built to work with specific sheets (ex: the 2014 5th Edition OGL by Roll20 Companion Mod), this has always been the case that they will only work with that particular sheet. A handful of the most popular generic or broadly-applicable character sheet mods have been updated for some Beacon compatibility. Examples include Group Check, and GroupInitative. These last two had a hiccup for the last couple months that affected compatibility, but this was addressed a couple of weeks ago, time of writing.
