There are a wide range of things a macro could do that are helpful if the zoom is in the API. This could be selecting a token and zooming in very close with a ping. This could be scripted for sendPing( *calculated center* and zoom to fit page. Many other things could be done. Like a dungeon map that was made with 8 sections of the same map, move and zoom to that portion etc. I hope this is an easy and simple QoL thing since it's just exposing something that already exists over to the API and we can deal with making it do what we want. Our campaign is in person but projected down onto the large white table. I alter vision to solo out the top of initiative player and ping over to them. When it's an NPC vision is restored to all player tokens and I wish I could center and zoom to fit but for now we just stay with the last player token. and If they need something more then the player running the map switches screens on their laptop and adjusts. In short a variable of the sendPing() can include the zoom value and/or we can also just get a zoom function of its own.
