Another Forever DM hoping to find a group to play. (EST/GMT-5 Weekday Mornings) (Online)

Hey dnd fanatics, fans, and followers. Forever DM here with 11 years of dnd.(90% of the time doing the dming.) I will make the post as simplified and as straightforward as possible, so hopefully it won't be too long I work evenings, so my availability is any weekday (Mon-Fri) but 8:30am to 2pm. So if that time frame can't work for you, I am sorry, but I can't budge it. I am looking for a group who loves to rp. (Both in session and in-between sessions if possible) Open to homebrew, house-rules, or whatever the DM is willing. But please no politics and only 18+ I (he/him) am LGBTQ+ supportive and looking forward to find new friends to go on adventures with! Please DM me if I fit within your table or have any questions. P.S. Not a power gamer or Min/Maxer. P.P.S. I possibly have another player to join.

D&D only or would you be interested in other game systems?

I wouldn't be opposed to other game systems. I have dabbled in F.I.S.T. and Pathfinder (the video game)

Had not heard of FIST until now.  I am quite familiar with Pathfinder (both first and second editions).  Was also thinking of starting up a game of Starfinder, which is essentially a science-fantasy version of Pathfinder.

I've no qualms about explaining how the game works.  But rest assured it's not terribly difficult to understand.

My only concern is my friend who i mention in the post. They are just getting into dnd. So i if you do go with Pathfinder or Starfinder, let me know and I can ask them if they are up for it. (They have a sci-fi character already in mind, but I don't know how it would translate to Starfinder)

(They have a sci-fi character already in mind, but I don't know how it would translate to Starfinder) Pathfinder and Starfinder both use D&D 3.5 as a basis, originally.  It uses d20s for rolling attacks, saving throws and skill checks just like D&D.  They're very similar.

Yeah, I will have to see if there are any days they can't do. Like I can't do weekends.

I spoke to my friend and they are not interested. They are just wanting to learn dnd for the time being.  I would be possibly be interested if its pbp, giving me more time to learn its mechanics, but I will hold off on doing vc and sessions, I can only commit to one VC game and I want to be guide and assist my friend
