[LFG] [D&D 5e or 5e 2024] [GMT] [MON, TUE, WED, FRI AFTER 6PM GMT / 1PM EST] Experienced Player Seeking Long Term Game

Hello there! My name is Joshua, but Josh will work for those of you that doesn't allow UA. I've been playing D&D for around twenty years with the vast majority of that time spent as a DM. While I absolutely adore running games within my homebrew worlds, I have found myself seeking to indulge in the other side of the screen. As a player, I covet character growth and roleplay, and wish to indulge heavily in the lore and characters of the world. While I enjoy combat, I typically prefer more roleplay or intrigue related games. That being said, I aim to approach combats with a fresh lens and style as I flavour and describe my failures and successes. I do not have any existing concepts for characters, it is a preference of mine to craft a character that fits the world as opposed to insert one into it by force. I love playing characters that fit a niche in a group and have a list of flaws and traits that make them feel organic/interesting.  So please reach out via PM or even this post directly if you have a world that could benefit from a roleplay heavy player wanting to explore it! I am looking for games ranging between £10/$15 to £15/$20 per session.  Kind regards, ~ The Bard ~
Hi Josh, I wanted to reach out as your post caught my eye, but before diving into details I wanted to check timing to see if you're a little insane like the rest of us exiles. Our campaign runs weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8:30pm PST, which works out to 11:30pm EST and 4:30am GMT, with 1.5 to 2 hour sessions. I noticed you mentioned availability after 1pm EST or 6pm GMT, so I wanted to check whether a late night or early morning start like that would realistically work for you on those days. I run the sessions from New Zealand (after moving back from USA).  If the timing could work, I am happy to share more about the campaign and see if it might be a good long term fit. If not, no worries at all, just wanted to confirm before going any further. Josh
Hi there, I'm afraid I work during the week, so these times don't work for me. I appreciate the offer, however! And hope your stories and plots are vibrant and flourish! Kind regards, ~ The Bard ~
