Cannot assign imported character to a player in DnD 5e 2024

Hey Everyone,  So I have a player going down the necromancer route in our campaign. I saw in the roll20 charachter creator, this is an option as a wizard subclass, so i went ahead and made the character but I cannot edit/assign this character to a player when right clicking it. And there is no options for anything assigning wise, while in the character sheet (nothing in advanced settings).  So I tried making a new charachter inside the game and re-doing it all, but when I go to create a wizard level 3 specifically in this game, there is no necromancer option all of a sudden?  I'm now at a loss on what I am doing wrong, and why I can't seem to make one version of a charachter outside a game, but not one inside my own game. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Matthew! To assign a sheet to a player, you need to put it in edit mode (a pencil icon in the header for the 2024 sheet, the Edit button for other sheets.) From there there are two drop downs, one for the sheet to be in the player's journal tab, the other for them to have control and edit access. Choose the player name for both lists, and then save. The sheet is now assigned to that player. As to why the necromancer option is not showing where it was earlier, I can't answer that without actually having hands and eyes on the sheet. Check your compendium sharing in the settings page for your game (not the in-game settings tab), and make sure that source is allowed.
Hey Keith!  Looking at the PC sheet, there a few pencil icons but none of them showcase what you're saying.

When it is popped out it loses the top bar.  If it is automatically popped out go to the My Settings tab in the top right corner and disable the checkbox that automatically pops out Journal content.

Thanks for the catch, Gauss. Yes, the sheet must not be popped out, but those are not the pencil icon I spoke of. When the sheet is popped in, these are the edit buttons, the one with the avatar and the pencil, or the one with the gear icon. They are identical in function. Once in edit mode, these are the control fields:
Gauss you did it! Thank you so much. May both sides of your pillow be cool, and may every french fry you order be fresh from the fryer. I appreciate the help, you've saved the day.  Keith thank you as well.  Gauss said: Matthew E. said: Hey Keith!  Looking at the PC sheet, there a few pencil icons but none of them showcase what you're saying.  When you open the sheet don't pop it out.
