In the Serpent City of Selaro, the diviner Thaddeus has posted a job asking for adventurers to recover a magical item - a Tome of Enlightenment - from a hidden location in the Everdesert outside the city. He can't get it himself, but you shouldn't have any problems, right? Just uh, be aware of the one who holds it. Rin is a little odd, and there is very little he wants other than to make sure Thaddeus can't get his hands on the book. But don't worry too much! I'm Phoenix! I've been a DM for about 15 years. I would love to
find some players for a one-shot in February and hopefully find some players for a regular game. This is a good way to get to know me as a DM. There will be a mix of combat, exploration, and roleplaying, but it's all in how you want to approach things. You want to fight every enemy you see? Let's fight. You want to talk? Let's see if they're open to a dialogue. Maybe you want to sneak your way around, or you have an item that unexpectedly could be useful! How do you want to proceed? This one-shot is for level 5 characters. I have some pre-made characters ready to go, but if you'd like, you're more than welcome to make one yourself!
