MAP ISSUES

I have seen that a few people are having map issues. Mine seem to be just with maps that have been exported from Dungeon Alchemist. Either they don't load properly or when they do load, when you try and scroll the page the maps just start to "vibrate" and freeze the whole site. Does this on Chrome and Firefox.

Hi Ed! Best thing to do with a technical issue like this is to collect a Console Log ( Chrome , Firefox ) and file a Help Center Request . Much better than the community-level help you will get on the forums. However, be aware that if Dungeon Alchemist is the only common factor, they might not be able to do anything about it, give that DA is a third party product.
Thanks Keith. Was just finding it weird that the were working fine when we played the last time and now they seem broken.
I'm having the same issue with a dungeon I have been working on. Just started happening on Wednesday. I have found if I copy the map to a new page without bringing the map, foreground or lights the new page doesn't crash. Adding the map is fine, it just starts acting up once you use the Dungeon Alchemist API to add all the lighting back. Reducing the number of lights and exporting at a lower quality makes it "slightly" less likely to crash. My map is 46x46. I opened a ticket on Thursday, no word back yet. Have tried both Edge and Chrome on 2 different computers. I am running a DnD 2024 game but I don't think that necessarily matters. I
Ed W. Same exact issue, and my mapes are also made with Dungeon Alchemist. Always worked before.. now it doesn't. ... maybe it has something to do with their JAN 22 update: January 22, 2026 Dungeon Scrawl Updates: Favorites Free users can favorite Free Images for quick access across multiple sessions. Thanks for letting me know. You might be right about the Dungeon Scrawl update thing Knud. Hopefully the ticket Acheron opened with get this resolved.
My maps are now working! Going to guess one of two possible reasons - January 28, 2026 Roll20 Tabletop Updates: We temporarily rolled back a part of January 20th release, re-enabling VTT performance improvements as an optional setting (ref to previous item: "The latest round of VTT performance improvements, previously available as optional via the tabletop's Graphics Settings, are now the default experience for all users in non-legacy games.) OR - I had a Microsoft update waiting for me today - KB5074105 that addresses some of the many issues with the January Windows 11 update. One or the other seems to have fixed things.
Yes mine were working also. I believe it was the prior as I have not had a Microsoft update. Just happy they are working and thanks to the great crew at Roll20 for jumping on this as quickly as they did. I was kind of in panic mode as I have a large chapter of my 4 year old campaign coming up and was heavily dependent on the maps that I had made up for it lol
