2024 Character sheet resource tracker

Adding a method to track class resources like Action surge, Second wind, etc. That's tied to the short rest and long rest buttons and enable you to be aware when you run out without the possibility of player error and forgetting the expended resource.
There is a resource tracker already but it is obnoxiously unintuitive to set up, you have to go through so many menus :/ I agree though that having a simpler one you can just edit on the fly would be very useful
If you click on the Pencil icon next to the ability in question, you should be able to mark "Short Rest" or "Long Rest" at the bottom. For the resource tracker, stay on the same editing menu where you marked short/long rest. Now, click on the "[gear symbol] Advanced" button. You can scroll down to the "Modifiers" section, click "+Add", then choose the appropriate modifier in the Resource dropdown list that appears. Make sure to hit "Apply" when finished (the small white button UNDERNEATH), then click the big red "Save" in the bottom right. Let me know if that helps!
Being able to see resources along the side of the character sheet, near the current AC and Defense sections would be ideal for easy utilization/tracking. The 2014 character sheets had them easily created and usable.
