{LFP}{GURPS} - Possibly may need one player for two different and weird games.

Hi.  I run two games on Tuesday (7:30-10:30ish) and Wednesdays (7:00-9:30sorta), eastern time.  I have players who have busy schedules in both games and may need to find a replacement.  I cannot guarantee you'll be in the game and am looking more for initial interest. The games are: Infinite Worlds - You can be pretty much anything you want as long as you look like you belong in reality.  Like, literally, anything your imagination can invent.  No, really.  No classes, just you being you.  Well, you until something tries to shoot/eat you. League of Extraordinary Gentlefolk-1989 - Like the comic, but 80's.  Your character must exist in the year 1989 - So, MacGyver, Rambo, fresh out of high school and awkward John Wick and, because it encapsulates all fiction/literature, a Nexus-6 replicant (Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep took place in 1992), and so on.   If you are a newbie to TTRPG's or GURPS, no problem.  I'll help with your character and guide you. In interested, please answer these questions:     "What conspiracy theories do you believe?"        "A character from any medium you most relate to?"      "Describe either yourself or your potential character as what sort of natural phenomena, animal, human activity, weapon and color you'd be."  It will all make sense in the end.  To me at least. Thanks. Edit - no idea why the font shrank.
Hello there. Being that I have wanted for a while to give GURPS a shot from the player side, you have gotten my interest here. Though I have to ask, are those times given am or pm? The latter would, by the cruelty of timezone differences, be outside my playable range. Of those games, the first one is the one I can imagine better, as my knowledge of the 1980s and their popular culture is rather limited. Though I think there coulds till be something cooked up. As for your questions three: 1.) Not really into that stuff, so the ones I heard of are the most commonly lambasted and absurd ones. While I am willing to believe that there are conspiracies out and about, I would assume most to be of the mundanely corrupt sort. 2.) It may vary depending on the mood and what I read most recently, but as it stands, Harry Dresden from the Dresden Files novels make a fine canditate. 3.) If the rules allow to do one justice, I sure would want to play a dragon. Classic D&D, Warcraft or warhammer fantasy style, maybe somewhat spyro inspired. Should have asked this above, but which version/edition of GURPS would this be? I have gm'ed a bit of the 4th, and have no other experience on the system.
It's in the evening, 4th edition, & probably the less you know about pop culture could actually save you.
Best of luck to you in your search, EST evenings at those times are too late for me to partake.
