Hi! I'm io. I'm 34 years old and have been playing TTRPGs for around 12 years. Most of my experience is with Pathfinder 1e and D&D 3.5/5e/5e 2024, but I am always interested in learning a new system and a fast learner, so I'm open to any system. I particularly enjoy character driven narratives and frequent chances to role-play. The characters I make tend to be grounded and down to earth and very good at their specific role. I'm also very good at finding an in character excuse to take any dangling plothooks in front of us. I want my characters to go through shit, and I am always excited to fail an important roll or have consequences to my actions. If a character doesn't have interpersonal relationships with the party and NPCs, it's boring to me. I want everyone to have a good time, and I want everyone to feel welcome to speak up in scenes. My philosophy with role-play is two-fold: Does what I want to say need to be said, and does it need to be said by MY character. I've had some trouble in the past with DMs and players who weren't queer/SW friendly, so I'd want to make sure that whatever game I join is inclusive. I'm very queer myself, and I like to think of myself as pretty chill. As long as you're not judging anyone else's right to exist and do what they want, we'll probably be okay. Not saying we have to be besties or agree 100% on everything, just that we need to be chill with people's identities. While some might not consider it important that a group share similar views IRL, I think it is. I'm more comfortable playing with people who I can relate to and shoot the shit with, that's just who I am. Games are a social experience, and if we're not all on roughly the same page, it hurts the experience. My available times currently are Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday. I currently have a game on Tuesday, but next week is the confirmed end of the campaign, so as long as I'm joining the game after next week, I'm available then as well. I live in the Midwest/Great Plains in the US, so my timezone is CST, but I am usually available at any times during those days listed.
