Hey there, my name is AxP and I’m DMing a homebrew world that has just started last Saturday but unfortunately we had a player no-showing and are now looking to refill that slot. The campaign is a mid fantasy setting, potentially dipping into high fantasy setting as we get higher levels. Currently the main focus is about the 2 neighboring countries that are on the verge of war as tensions have been rising, and the magical resource rich enchanted jungle that borders both countries as the staging grounds for wealth, magic and mysteries. The campaign is homebrewed, but you can expect the classic suspects such as mimics, owlbears, dragons etc. The party is a mix of players who have played together in a previous campaign for about 2.5 years, and newer players who just joined this campaign. We are aiming for 7 total players including me as the DM. So currently we have 5 players and need 1 slot to be filled. Currently we have myself and 4 other men, and one woman, and ideally we would like to find another woman to balance out the group a bit. The age range is 23-35, but 18+ is fine. We have a set time slot for Saturdays 5 pm to 10 pm GMT+1 (Europe/Denmark time), but I think we can be a bit more flexible on when we play on the Saturday, such as earlier in the day etc, so don’t let that discourage you from applying. We already had our first session last Saturday and it was a blast, and are scheduled for another session tomorrow, although with a missing player for the time being, that player could be you! We would of course need to set expectations and rules along with your backstories and character ideas etc, so we don’t expect you to be ready to play for this Saturday, but we are looking for someone as early as possible as the campaign is now ongoing. Currently we settled on the 5.5(2024) version of the game, but we may use 2014 rules for certain things, and even allow certain subclasses from there. The campaign is generally styled towards a healthy mix of 40% combat, 40% RP and 20% exploration. We are looking for players who want to play for a long time, so a dedication for a long campaign is valued highly, along with people respecting each other's time(being on time) and having basic behaviors/manners, including basic communication skills, to not be “that guy”. And we will be using discord for our voice communication, and Roll20 as our virtual table. The basic requirements: Age 18+, English speaking. Female player. New player friendly Right attitude / right fit for the group 5 hours of play, weekly. Currently the players are playing: Warlock Ranger Sorc Artificer Fighter You? :) So while we would like a cleric, it's not a requirement and we will see what we have when the game rolls around.
