Hello, this is a post about the Curse of Strahd games I am running and that are currently looking for players. Deep inside of a mist-filled realm where the gods send only the most depraved and twisted of human souls dwells a creature known as Strahd von Zarovich, and he has grown bored. Even though he rules over his very own land filled with as many souls one could ever wish to have dominion and control over, it's not enough. His family is one of conquerors and military might, now that he has fallen to the dark powers and is now trapped in his own realm he has no new enemies to conquer, no new lands to seize, and no new souls to dictate. So as he has done many times in the past, he has called upon his minions and dark allies to venture through the mist that entomb him and bring forth new souls from varied lands to his realm so that he may conquer their souls to satiate his dark hunger. But even he knows it's never enough, and he has come to accept and embrace it. All the while as Strahd dwells within his dark castle the people in his tortuous lands live in fear of not only their malicious overlord but also the undeads, werewolves, spirits, and other monsters that stalk the woods. The people have often seen new people enter their lands and hope they might be the ones to save them, but they always seem to fail them. Even though Strahd has broken the hope of them, in a cruel irony he didn't even need to kill the ones that bring hope to his lands. But these people under malignant tyranny need to be saved, and they hope that you're the ones to finally break the Curse of Strahd.
