Trying to manage the upload library on here is frankly inexcusably awful. Made worse by the fact that the only indicator of how much space I'm using at a given time is a fuzzy circle on my account page which is clealry lagging behind what I'm actually doing. I say taht: because I was uploading audio files for an upcoming game, only to have one pause mid-way through and say "you're over your storage limit"... even though I had lots of space before starting... So I set about deleting older assets I no longer need... Only: how much I delete and how much the needle moves might as well be totally arbitrary. I'm fairly sure the site is convinced that half-uploaded file is still taking up space; even though it never got to upload and therefore I cannot delete it from my library because it isn't there in the first bloody place! Having zero indicator of how large a file is in your library is really quite awful because now I'm cross-referencing files between the site and my PC to check their sizes. I'm already compressing maps into bloody Webp format; gross; no idea what else I'm supposed to do. EDIT: Okay yes, something is definitely off with the little "pie chart" on my account page: just to test it, I just deleted a file in excess of 3 MB in size, and after several minutes and refreshes; it gave me less than 2 back.
