Before you look further keep in mind that we are the kind of dnd group to hang out outside of dnd (we play video games or just call for fun) (as an example...) So if you join my dnd games you are looking at forever friends. (all of us are 18-24 btw) (To become a player please expect to do an interview with me and another player) About me... I am a college student going into Educations to be a English teacher. I have Dm'd for 5 years and during that have been dming 1 continuous game for 1.5 years. I am a huge zelda nerd, I play baulders gate 3 because i am a forever dm so thats cool. DND is quite literally my life, and i need more friends.... hahahahahaksjbflsiubff,asjcno This is a very high political/roleplay heavy, high fantasy, style game inspired by the popular series game of thrones! There is extensive lore (still being made) a good amount of world notes and really just a lot of effort being put into the game. (YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE WATCHED GAME OF THRONES BUT IT MIGHT HELP) I am making the game around you all so i am asking for character earlier than i would normally as a dm. (Expect to start this campaign in about a month or so) I am in the middle of making world lore as we speak. There is no set plot yet, I expect to make that after everyone has handed in some sort of backstory though I do have vague ideas still. I just want to hear from my players first. GAME PLAY : Game play is important, PLEASE BE COMFORTABLE ROLEPLAYING AND TAKING NOTES, since this is most likely a high political campaign I will be sprinkling MANY bread crumbs for you to follow (or not) The first 5 or so sessions will be with you and one or two others (NOT THE FULL GROUP) think of it like extended session 0 or backstory where you meet some of your companions. I will be getting you all to a destination to meet the others. This game is ALL happening on Tuesday nights so Group 1 will start about 7pm and Group 2, 9pm, until we all meet and your paths intertwine. When we do all get together sessions typically last 3-4 hours or longer depending on you and my notes! CHARACTER CREATION: I would ask that no one makes their characters until session 0. You will all be making characters together to make sure there are no double ups. Because you are going into groups for the first few sessions, if you do not have a connected backstory prior (siblings, lovers, friends, ect) You will be paired randomly/what i think will work best. Because this is a game of thrones (heavily) inspired campaign, there will be houses which you will recognize. HOWEVER each major house (Starks, Lannisters, ect) all have designated races (they are also not named stark or lannister but other fantasy names) You are permitted to be a lord or king's kid, though not the ruler (yet) itself.
