Dynamic lighting walls not showing unless I reload the page.

I'm honestly going to rip my hair out. I don't understand what is happening. I've reloaded the page, I've closed the page and navigated back to it, I've closed the whole browser and started over and I am now about to restart my whole computer. This is going to make it 100% impossible to set up this map. Session is in 2 days and this will already be a ton of work. I'm starting to get incredibly frustrated with the sheer amount of issues Roll20 has and I've been a HUGE supporter for multiple years. This is making me consider an entirely new platform, at this point. Recording of Bug
I have determined they show if I also zoom out all the way and then zoom back in but that doesn't negate the issue itself. Shouldn't be happening, no matter the size nor quality of the map.

Hi Guildmaster Grim! Yikes, that does look frustrating. I can't reproduce it over here, so the list of things I'd suggest to pin down where the breakdown is happening are: Test in a private browsing window. (eliminates most extension conflicts) Delete Cache and cookies, then log out and back in. (ensures you are working on the latest code base and have no corrupted or old data hanging around) Test using a different browser if possible. Chrome and Firefox are the only supported ones. (Ensures the issue isn't a browser incompatibility) If none of those work (and this one may take longer), capture a Console Log ( Chrome , Firefox ) and file a  Help Center Request , to get the attention of the team.

Hello - thanks for letting us know. Can I ask you to tell me the status of a specific checkbox? Is it checked or unchecked? sneaky edit it would also help us to know your browser, game title, and the name of the page you're having this problem with? Open Virtual Tabletop, the go to My Settings > Graphics > Performance > Enable Performance Enhancements
Today I tried to look at the light layer as a DM and there were no light blocking lines until I logged out and back in. Then they were there but only if I clicked on where I thought a light line should be and selected it. As soon as I tried to select another one the first disappeared. I am hoping that this doesn't affect what my players can see as the lines appear to be there, I just can't see them. I'm using Jumpgate.
Hultz-  I have the same questions for you that I posted here . What is the status of the "Enable Performance Enhancements" checkbox? Is it checked or unchecked? Which browser are you using, what is the game title, and what is the name of the page you're having this problem with?
I'm having this problem right now during our game. All my GM layer annotations and lighting layer walls were not visible until I turned off the Performance Enhancements.
Greg - I'm sorry you're having an issue. Can you help provide the info AllHansOnDeck shared here to  help  us narrow down the problem?  What's the status of the Enable Performance Enhancements" checkbox (checked or unchecked) What browser are you using What's the game title and name of page you're having trouble with? Enhancements my butt!!! With it unchecked, doors don't show up properly (no door icon) but oh well.

Hi Greg, Hultz and Guildmaster Grim -  Thanks for reporting what you were seeing early on - it helped us narrow down the issue quickly! We pushed out a fix in the last 30 minutes that should solve the aforementioned issues with "Performance Enhancements" settings. If you're open to giving it anther try, you can toggle it back on in VTT Settings > Graphics section to take advantage of the overall performance benefits. Please do reach out and let us know if there's anything else wonky that you're noticing! I am using the Firefox browser and the game is a remix of Dragon Heist and Dungeon of the mad mage combined called,  Waterdeep: Dragon Heist Remix . The "Enable Performance Enhancements" checkbox is checked.  Gotta run and won't be back Monday.

Hoping to see less of these types of bugs crop up.

I can confirm that the problem is gone with Performance Enhancements turned on. Thanks for the quick fix!
