About the Pathfinder 1E Community Sheet...

Greetings! I was wondering if there is an option (or if it is feasible for someone far more knowledgeable & skilled than I) to implement this option) to export the character sheets of PCs/NPCs/Monsters made in-game with the Pathfinder 1E Community Sheet into a PDF or similar format? I am interested in exporting the entire character sheets of individual characters for archival purposes off-line when I run games without internet access (or simply to have a dead-tree copy for my players to have if they want one). Thank you in advance for any helpful replies. :) Cheers!

Hi CB, I have a long history with the PF Community sheet as an author.  There isn't any kind of export feature built into the sheet.  If the sheet was updated to be properly formatted for printing (Roll20 added the necessary functionality around 2023), then you could print to paper and/or a pdf.  There are currently only a handful of character sheets on roll20(out of 1400+ sheets btw) that have the necessary print options encoded.  Ironically, I created the print suggestion over 11+ years ago. lol I have added a print option for the AD&D1e sheet so I'm at least familiar with the process.   Updating the PF Community sheet to allow printing is on my to-do-(someday) list.  No promises on how soon I can get that accomplished.  Apologies.

Hey Vince, I do remember you being one of the authors for the PF Community, good to see you are still around.  Hakuna matata about if or when you are able to get it to allow printing; if it gets done, great, if not, there is always the old-school way of manually typing out the character sheets into a Word document or something similar.  Currently, my problems with the sheet is that for some reason, a lot of the tabs are not displaying the description section in the sheet itself for older character sheets. I can see what is in the description of an ability or equipment that I added years ago when I click on the button to roll the ability in the chat display but I cannot edit it or see it in the sheet itself, does that make sense? What can I do to fix that?

HI CB, make sure the sheet is not in "compact" mode. (top right corner of the sheet. 2nd to last button toggles the sheet between edit/compact)  I leave my sheets in edit mode 99% of the time.  Compact will hide many of the sheet's fields.
Thanks, Vince! It was definitely the issue of the sheets somehow being in compact mode after the campaign was brought back from cold storage. I normally keep all of the character sheets in edit mode.
Vince,  Is there any chance of enabling the abilities section for the feats to have more than one "Feat Type" descriptors? For example, many feats have two descriptor tags, like the style feats (they are style feats and also combat feats, usually).  Some feats might have 3 or 4 descriptor tags (off-hand I don't know of any, but there may be some, possibly from third-party publishers). Cheers! CB

Hi CB, no promises if I can make that work, but I'll look into it.
