Hello everyone, I’m looking to recruit 4-6 players for a new campaign. I’ve decided to run a new game after a long hiatus. It will be run on Sundays, three weeks out of the month. All races and classes are acceptable, I will be building the world off of the character applications to make sure everyone has an organic reason for participating. The game world will start small and gradually expand in both scope and complexity so if you are new feel free to apply!  What to expect  Interactive World:  Watch your groups actions directly affect the shape of kingdoms, state of the world and direction of the people around you. Character death is likely but those short lived races such as orc and man might see a character forced into retirement by age if the campaign goes on long enough. Downtime activities: You can’t spend every day hunting dragons. For those weeks or months between jobs your characters are still growing. learn new skills or feats work a job Assist factions Start your own groups Start a business Create new and exciting gear. Legacy Mode: If a PC dies the game isn’t over, even after a party wipe. The impact your characters have made carry over to the next generation resulting in better gear / starting level / even special feats and attributes. Alternative rules: Short / Long Rests - The standard rules for short and long rest drag out gameplay and so have changed to allow warlocks, fighters and other short rest based classes notably different from classes the rely on long rests. Healing - Because long rests require multiple days healing is harder to come by.   Healers kits become more useful as does the medicine skill. Lingering Injuries: If you suffer a critical hit or fail a death saving throw you will suffer a lingering injury. Medicine checks and restoration magic can reduce or completely alleviate this injuries.   Application: Name: Preferred Race / Class: General Character background (three sentences or less): For example: Veteran of recent war looking for work. Or sheltered noble looking for adventure. Favorite kind of enemy / villain. Ideal Campaign themes: (Horror / Monster Hunting / Political Intrigue / Exploration / Nobles at war/ Undead Plague) Time Skips: Are you interested in a game that is set in a few months, several years or centuries? The longer the time skips the greater the influence the party has on the world. A campaign of several years might see a small village grow into a trading center, a longer timeline could see it turn into the capital of a new kingdom. Questions:
I'd be very interested in this just need a way to connect, contact, and discuss things further About me I'm a forever DM, but can take that to a character without rule lawyering and such. I enjoy to and get very into character.
Hi there, Been playing for years but haven't ever used roll20 to find a game before, but I have used it in the past. Do you want applications here or DMed? Thank you
